Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Do they really think I'm going to fall for this?
- PaulGot a call from this number this AM. My iPhone captured a number from Romania 40 58872695. Then it changed to 405-887-2695. I called the 405 number back and got a central asian mail most likely a Pakistani or Indian accent threatening a lawsuit. Told him the IRS dose not call people about a lawsuit all contact is in writing.

- Renee LawsonAn automomated call [female voice] came this morning to my 82 year old mother's phone. She became agitated because the message said the reason for the call was because the IRS was starting a lawsuit against "someone in the home." I told her it was a scam but she has Alzheimer's and it's hard for her to comprehend. She was stuck on "IRS" and "lawsuit."
- Caller: IRS Prank
- Linda LouThey called and I got the same automated message as everyone else. I know it's a scam, but I called back to see what information they had of mine, but she would only give my full name. Asked where she was and she rattled off some address in D.C. She asked if I had a criminal attorney and I said no, so she said the Sheriff was going to arrest me today. I told her to hold on while I called my friend at the FBI because I was aware that this was a scam, she said yes and then she hung up.
