I had the same experience, caller ID said "Important."  Normally I don't answer but I was pretty curious.  I answered and silence, I guess they hung up.  Very annoying.  There should be a way to stop all these companies from calling you automatically and hanging up.  I feel like it's happening more and more.

It's the Republican party robo calling to remind us that we should vote a total GOP ballot this election. I received 8 of these calls so far this afternoon. They just sealed their fate for me... I am voting 100% DEMOCRAT.

Then the joke's on you because IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. Both parties get their money from the same corporations and do their bidding.

Oh and you thought you had a CHOICE? Bwahahahahahahaha

This is a Republican party automated caller.  Left an insistent message about voting the straight Republican ticket - House, Governor, and Senate. I will be pleased to hand them a 100% DEMOCRAT backlash vote.  (In the categories, they should have "nuisance political call".

Are people really simple minded enough to change their vote to an entire political ticket because of a phone call? So if we just got rid of telemarketing political BS then our country would not be in the mess that it's in right now... I guess that explains the mentality of the people who put Obama in the White House... The future of this country looks really bleak.

Came up simply as "Montana" on caller ID.  Left message inviting me to honor outgoing President of MTV at the next meeting of the Nassau County (NY) Republican Club at Pappa Razzi restaurant in Old Westbury, NY on Tuesday, January 18, 2011.

If it is out of area or some other dummy number....I pick up and hit the star key (*) as fast as I can and then put it on hold for about a minute!  This leaves them wondering.  The caller does not know what to think and after a few times the calls stop from this particular number because they DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS A LIVE PERSON OR - WHAT TIME I AM HOME.  You see many times a call is made to a random number just to see if there is a live person on the other end and what time they are home.  This info is given to another caller to call a different day at this same time.  This is why I don't allow it to go to the V.M. if I can help it.  I do not want these callers to know that this is a real persons number.  Lots of work but it is kind of fun knowing that they are wasting their time more than mine :)  And if they keep calling anyway, I just block it.  When blocked the phone only rings once so not to annoy me.

This is the fourth or fifth number calling to tell me about a special election in my county.  If this is an indication as to what to expect in the general election I will disconnect my phone!

it's always a big mistake to vote a straight party ticket no matter which you subscribe to ...there are good and bad on both sides of the isle ..got to measure each candidate ..and vote for what is best for the country

Received a call from 406-224-9159 and I did not answer. They rang several times and then hung up. The other people on this website were called in 2010 and 2011. It is 2014 now, so I wonder if this is the same person calling or this is a new phone number for someone. The caller ID said "Wireless Caller." I never answer a call from Wireless Caller. A legitimate business would have a land line.
