I just received a phone call could you please call back

Just received a call from this number saying he was from U.S. Government Grants Department.  Thick Spanish accent.  Definitely a scam.

Just recieved a phone call on my cell phone from this number.  They had a heavy accent and said they they were from the government and that I had been chosen to recieve a grant. When I questioned why I was recieving a call about a goverment issue on my cell phone, they hung up.  Seems like a scam to me and I am not happy that they called my cell phone considering that I am on several "do not call" lists.

Scam.  Just got call on cell phone from someone with African/Jamaica accent warning me about something on my computer.  I said I work for Microsoft and had not heard of this, so please tell me more.  They hung up.

Call came in as "unknown caller". I was curious so I answered and was told that they had just received a warning that my computer was infected. I played along then asked which computer as I have 5. Said that all 5 were infected. told them I would check them myself and hung up. A minute later they called back from 406-344-5612 asking why I hung up. Proves the "do not call" lists are useless.

Caller is saying he is calling from a government agency stating that I took out a pay day loan for 500 in 12/13.  This is a definitely untrue.   Says a case will be filed against me.  Had my info which was more than likely sold to him but its a scam and he can call to the cows come home I'm not falling for it.

Scam. I have just received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, who says that I have a virus which is sending information from my computer. I says to the guy, i dont use Windows i use Linux.. He starts laughing nervously for a brief moment, and then hangs up.. Pwned!

I received a missed call at 15:34  yesterday from this number, funny thing I checked the number and it's not registered to anyone, so I took it for scam or a calling card, when I called back the number gives a busy line sound. I ignore unknown numbers always.

These are some dumb guys with a thick accent trying to scam people out of their money. How about you try to sell your mother, sister or daughter for money. People are too smart for your childish act, get a real job!!! Next time you call I will take up all your time pull your leg until you hang up on me.

Scam - caller said she was from US Department of Treasury...I had been selected for a grant.  Accent was Asian.

they call me 20 times a day if i answer the phone or not.  I am on do not call list, it does not help.  IF i answer they whistle in the phone, or say nothing at all.  I am in poor health and need my rest.  The phone rings constantly so i have to unplug it and that is screy thing to do.  I pay the phone bill so why is it I have to put up with this jerk?  Maybe i should just disconnect the phone.  The do not call list does not stop them, they call anyways and i dont think anyone follows up on the phone scams.  i believe this is a robo call.

Received two calls from this number today on my cell phone.  I answered the first call and the male speaker (English was not his first language) who said he was from the US Government.  I told him I was busy and hung up.  He called three hours later.  (
My phone identified the location as Montana (MT) but I did not answer the call.

An hour later I received a call from 1-800-111-3344.  No location was identified.  It was the same caller with a noticeable accent who said he was from the US Government.  I asked him to repeat what he said and he hung up.  See my post under the 800 number.

When will you people understand that thieves do not honor any Do_Not_Call_Anything !!

These people have an computer dialing numbers at random.

Your number just came up, they have no idea who you are, nor do they care !!

BUT, this type of SCAM does work for them, so they will keep on calling the weak minded, elderly and children.

Most importantly, GET OVER YOURSELF, YOUR NOT THAT IMPORTANT !!!

I got a call from this number, they didn't leave a message, I didn't answer, called the number back it said "the numeric number you used is not correct" or something like that.  It's a scam.

This was one of those - Hi, my name is Bill and I am from Windows. I am calling because your computer reported to us you have a virus..... You know the scam to get money from you when you are stupid enough to go to their site and download the file that takes over your computer. When I asked - What is Windows doing in my computer? They hung up. Oh well, I wanted to mess with them. It can be so much fun.
