Did not answer the phone cuz did not reconize number and wish the they would not call

This phone number calls my house
TEN times a day ! this is BS ! Even if I pick up the phone , nobody is on the other end.

I just got a call from this # it was a recording about my mortgage. My house has been paid off for at least 20 years. I tried to call the # back but got a message the the # was no longer in service. I am also on the do not call list. I agree with the posts above.

I've received calls from this number before, and I don't have any information that's different from anyone else.  I also am on the "do not call list."  I've reported this same number many times to the "complaint department" of the "do not call list."  (I keep putting them within quotation marks, because I don't think it's a real place, nor does it work very well.)  I do not think the complaint form provided by the "do not call" registry is of any value, because nothing is ever done.  I'm not sure what the point is of even having it.

This number keeps calling me about Home Modification. I am on the "do not call list." I tried to answer to tell them not to call me but it is a recording at the other end.

I don't owe anyone anything but I keep getting calls from this number.  I am on the federal No Call List ,and the State No Call List. It seems to me that I get more call since I went on the No CallList. I wonder if they are selling the numbers on the lists?????

Called at 9:00am on 10/13/2010.    Caller ID showed "Loan Mod Dept."   The recording basically wanted me to refinance a loan of some kind.   I'm on the DNC and so filed a complaint with the FTC and blocked their number on my call management device.    Area code seems to be from Billings Montana, but could be from anywhere with spoofed numbers and caller ID.  Couldn't find any reliable info as to who they really are.   Clearly a scam and violating more than one law.

Bogus,left message wanting to cut my credit card debt in half.....What could be worse than a bill collector ? One who calls when you aren't in debt. Makes me think this is a real bad scam...DON'T PRESS 5

Keeps calling my number and no one's there when I answer! I try calling back and I get a no longer in service message!! Hmmmmm! Is there somewhere we can cal to report this number?????

Must be one of those companies run by somebody whose main objective is to cheat good people - just like all the major banks.

I do wish they get buried in the Sahara or Mojave  desert up to the necks with red ants

Left some message about home loans.  Must be another bunch of crooks or they would properly identify themselves.  Put them on my blocked caller list.

We get tons of calls to throughout the day and when we all get home our caller id is swamped with the number 406-351-4006. its insane they even sometimes call us almost around 9:30pm in my book thats not apporiate for companies of charites or whichever to call us at that time. forget the proper name of it i think its called phone manners, phone ettitquete my grandparents used to tell us the proper time to be on the phone and a time cut off  like for example 10pm not acceptable. how do we stop these phoney companies, scammers, and charites, or credit card companies looking for another individual that doesnt live at the address but has outstanding overdue payments. i think if we all dont answer the phone let them keep on calling and get no answer maybe they'll get the hint. thank heavens for caller ids.. that way if you dont recognize a number dont answer it.

I just got a call from this same number a few minutes ago at 8:36 AM. The Doctors around here do not open that early. This is not the first call I have received from them and the caller ID says Loan Mod Dept. Like most others I too am on the "DO NOT CALL List: This is not the first time they ahve called, I do not answer the phone and let it go to Message. Sometimes they leave a recorded messaged about Modifying my Home loan, (By the way it  has been paid for for over 6 years now.) and sometimes they just hang up. Reporting them does not do any good. They ahve so many numbers they call from, that it would take up a spiral bound School note book to keep up with all the rediculious calls I receive. The Government needs to get involved with all these scams going around and do something to stop these abuse of the phone lines.

They called my home in Florida also, at 8:51 this morning.  No message.  So annoying!

Is a robocall, fishing for people to give up their personal info; is a scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. They have been calling me daily for the past week; talking about "My Loan Modification": I do have a loan mod going, but it is already being handled by a law firm, so when i received this call; i got suspicious and after some snooping, well... It was obvious it was a scam.

@ Mr. Me I firmly believe that if you put  your number on the national do not call list and state do not call list in which state you reside in its suppose to decrease the amounts of call you get and etc, etc. but personally know this first hand i put my cell number on both lists and got swamped with phone calls from telemarkets and etc they sell your information including your phone number i dont know how they can do it but they do. like for example i remember getting a call from 713-989 forget the last for digits but anyways he had a middleeastern accent i dont know how he got my nummber but after telling him i was going to report him to the massachuestts attorney general martha coakleys office and report this number for harassament he then gave me so information not alot but enough that i could report this he said i must of been on a list of some kind and by doing that the generated numbers are sold to companies. so i dont know i am in the process til this day of gathering information to report that number but since that time i have changed my number and in contact with my town police department that advised me to do so no problems but I WILL NOT PUT MY NUMBER ON ANY OF THE DO NOT CALL LISTS. their supposed to help and protect consumers its under the government affiliated program but i dunno mixed feelings.....i would suggest you change your number make a list of all calls that have come in from what shows on your caller id and call your state attorney generals office, and then do not register yourself on any of the lists..

The Do Not Call list does not prevent you from getting calls.  It's a database that legitimate telemarketers use to eliminate your number from their calling database.
A legitimate telemarketer won't call #s on the Do Not Call list.  Therefore, if you're getting telemarketing calls from this number the call is from a scammer or from a phisher that is building profiles.  If you don't have the function to block phone #s and are getting repeated calls from this number call your carrier and ask to have this number blocked.

Same company/phone number has been calling at night offering to renegotiate my cc interest.  I have low interest on credit cards and when I receive offers they are in the mail from my long term banks. I ignore the calls, check my caller ID first.
