- sc| 1 replyI've gotten 2 phone calls with this number & supposedly it's a credit card co offering better interest rates, of course you have to act right away before the pre-approval expires. The funny thing is, when the number came up on my caller id, it came up as a cell phone. I'm also on the do not call list & hadn't received any calls up until the last 2 days. I think this is definitely a scam.
- Caller: ???
- DCall from this number came up as a cell phone but it was an automated call talking about lowering your interest rate. It didn't ID the credit card company or give any other details. I'm thinking Scam.

- RichardGot a call from this number at 3:55pm. Caller ID said "Forsyth, MT. Caller claimed to be from "card services--act now to lower your debt." Pressed "1" and spoke to a person. When I asked her where she was calling from she tried to dodge the question stating that she worked for Visa and Mastercard. I stated that this was not what I asked her and repeated the question "What city and state are you calling from?" She hung up. I got one of these calls from a similar situation two weeks ago....but from buffalo NY.

Also didn't leave a message. - JasonI reported the number in a complaint to the National Do Not Call Registry as I have had the exact same experience from this operations and they've called from many numbers, including the 406-351-4131 Forsyth MT one. I advise you do the same to prompt action by the Registry. https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
- CR| 1 replyIf you stay on the line to talk to them after the recorded call, in order to ask to be put on the do-not-call-list, they hang up on you while you're asking. Niiiiiice.....
- Caller: "credit services"
- Call type: Telemarketer
- silk214This company has my cell # and doesn't actually want to speak to anyone. When you answer they hang up. This is just harrasement and if I can figure out who they are I'm reporting them to the FCC and the police.

- harassedUnknown on my caller ID. phone call Sat. July 17, at 11:46. Didn't answer-my ringer was off-heh!
These are harassment calls-possibly spoofed phone #'s. Read tactics and who does this on Stalker-Beware. com site. You can have your phone company trace calls if you are being harassed in other ways, and have a case file with police.- Caller: Unknown
- you_have_been_warned| 2 repliesThese folks are based in London, England. They use MagicJack to appear to be in the US. This is a MAJOR IDENTITY THEFT RING LINKED TO PAKISTAN TERRORISM. The authorities, including the FBI, cannot be bothered to go after these folks because "they are offshore". They offer to "give you credit card rates as low as 5%", they then ask you to provide your credit card numbers, and the provide the expiry date and confirmation code on the back "for verification". They will then run up all your accounts way past the limit with charges in Chad, Mali, and other African countries. iF YOU ASK THEIR ADDRESS, LOCATION, WHAT BANK THEY ARE WITH, ETC. THEY IMMEDIATELY HANG UP. I kept them on the phone twice, giving them made-up information while I traces the VOIP call (I use Linux so this is pretty easy) to the same location in East London. I contacted the FBI, and GAVE THEM THE ADDRESS WHERE THE CALLS ORIGINATE - but they are "too busy" to worry with this. These calls have been coming in to my area for almost three years now...
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION. - Al replies to scI spoke to the caller and he asked for the card on which I wished to lower my rate. He gave the impression of having them before him, so I said "the one ending in 8098". He asked for the full number. I said "Don't you have it?" "Well, yes, but we have to verify it." I said "Give me the number and I'll verify it". That wouldn't fly. These guys are phishing. Watch yourself.
