Trying to figure out who this is calling me?

i got a call from same person....about11:30 eastern this morn

I received a call from this number on Goggle voice account. It appears to be a robo dialer. It looks more like a scam.

Got a call from this number this morning.  I didn't answer but they left a message.  Someone claimed to have spoken to me last week about lowering interest rates on my credit cards and consoldiating payments.  I NEVER had any such conversation...definately someone phishing for personal/financial information.  They asked me to call a toll free number 800 310 2148 so be wary of this number also.  A lot of times people trying to steal personal information are able to scam dozens of people (possibly identity theft) and shut down their operation without a trace as to who they are before the authorities find out whats happening.  This is happening more and more all over the country.  Don't give out your personal information unless you call your lender directly and make sure it is a validated number.

They also called my google voice number which forwards to my home and cell phone.

My experience echoed Frank's exactly - same number, same voicemail message about having talked to me previously and can lower my credit card payments.

I got the same message... I have no credit cards and nothing with a loan so it appears that it is a scam and all should be aware

Incoming number was 406-351-4172.  Voice was a younger female identifying herself as Madison Smith, though I'm sure the name and voice can change.  Given the descriptions above, this was the same message other people are getting:

"Uh, Hi guys, this is Madison Smith giving you a call back. Um, we spoke last week on the phone about possibly trying to lower your interest rates and reduce your monthly payments on your credit cards. Um, I wanted to let you know that I did find a solution here. We've got a program that can lower those rates to as low as 1.5% and possibly cut your monthly payments in half. And, since you were only making the minimum payments this should be a great opportunity here for you. Um, this will be my last courtesy call so please give me a ring back today at 1-800-310-2148. Again, you can reach me toll-free here at 1-800-310-2148."

Agree with above that this is likely a phishing scam.

Incoming number was 406-351-4172.  Male voice using same script about consolidating debt as reported by "W" while trying to come across as though I had initiated the contact.  Likely a phishing scam.

I just received the same message on my cell phone - no call - just a voice mail. =/

People that do things like this; really suck.

I received a robo-call from a blocked number.  The call was deceptive and instructed me to call 800-310-2148.  I believe this is a scam and I believe the people behind this are trying to steal identities.  I believe the number is registered through Quest.  I believe this is a customer of theirs, but after calling a couple of different phone numbers for Quest they were unable to help me and indifferent to scammers operating on their network.

I have filed a complaint with the FTC.  Call the number listed on the FTC website to file an automated complaint and help put this scammer out of business.

I got exactly the same message 10 minutes ago! I was wondering what Madison Smith would say if I picked up her phone. Be aware!

got the call just now.....didn't leave a msg.

I just got the call too.  Montana zip code.  That clued me something was fishy.

put it on speaker phone today in front of some co workers, some guy acting like he knew me on a recording, i just hung up.

Just got the Madison Smith call, but mine went to an automated "to complete the call press 1" type of message. Reported to FTC, please be sure you are doing the same (see above)

got the call. saw a # i didn't know. didn't answer. looked it up. found this link. what the???? got a virus yesterday on computer. what is this world coming to.
