I got a call and tried to return it, unsucessfuly - the number does not accept calls.

This number came up as Cellular Call and since it's the same thing that comes up when my mom or brother call me, I picked up without looking carefully at the number. It said "Congratulations! Your family has been selected to receive a free home security system" and I immediately hung up. I'm pretty sure it's a scam anyway, but they should check where the people they call live first. I live in a trailer park and everyone out here is pretty poor. Therefore, no one needs a security system. I know we certainly don't. Nothing here worth taking.

This number showed up with the name Insider news.I did not answer the phone but now that i looked on here i certainly won`t in the future.

My iPhone labeled is as coming from Red Lodge, MT.... They do not accept a return call, and I got the same home security recording when I answered.

Just got a call from this number. I live in KS. Of course I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. It seems like every few months I get a new number calling me that I don't know who it's from. Thanks to 800notes.com, I know I'm not the only one.

Message this morning.  Left VM something about Insider News. Blocked call.  Did say if you returned the call and punched #2 they would take you off list.  Not falling for that ruse either.

Just got a call from this number, no voicemail but my phone says it originated from "Red Lodge, MT".  I never answer if I don't recognize due to the amount of "SPAM" calls I get on my cell, so I'm not sure if they would have answered or said something about "Insider News" as mentioned above or not.  I'm sure it's a scam call, though- unsolicited at least.

Have all of you registered on the National do not call registry? www.donotcall.gov   If not do so, after 30 days you can report all these calls if they continue calling you.

I did some research and found that these calls are being conducted by Revocalize of Utah, and Revocalize publishes their number as 877-783-5192 on their website.

I pressed the option for "customer service" and the guy who answered said that indeed they are conducting calls as "Home Security Group" and that they only contact opted-in customers. (I of course said there was no way I was opted in, but that didn't seem to matter.)
