- JesicaI said my typical hello spiel (this is a business) and heard the telltale click that meant they hadn't been on the line. A woman said Hello. I said Hello. She hung up.
- patrickI answered a ring, heard the infuriating "click" . . . . no answer . . . I called back . . . a woman indicated she had called no one.

- CC| 2 repliesAnswered, there was a long pause so I hung up. I added this number to my list of blocked numbers.
If you have Comcast service you can hit *60 and follow the instructions to turn on your call bocker if it is not already on. Then follow the instructions( promt 2) to enter the number you want to have blocked and the # sign. I have cut down by 90% all unwanted calls. Suggest you start your list with 000-000-0000 another popular number marketers use. - MH| 1 replyI am at work. Answered the phone, they asked for the doctor. I said the doctor is with a patient, but I am the doctor's Asst. Can I help you? They said I could win a brand new Ford Explorer, 7 day cruise, or $2500 for answering 3 questions. Said they were with Federal Financial Group. They didn't like the answers cause I have not gotten anything!

- pn60ca| 1 replyIt's IMS Federal Financial Group just got a call. I didn't answer the cell call but called the number back and left a message to call me back at an obscure number that I know always rings busy. Some times I leave their own number to tweak them a little bit. They waste their time listening to the message like they waste our time responding their BS calls.

- NicoleSaid I was randomly chosen to win a new car or large sum of money as a promotion for their business to introduce them to the area. I was suspicious to their first three questions about age, work status and income bracket, but told the guy I didn't believe this was legit once he started asking for personal information, i.e. address confirmation etc. Once he saw I wasn't falling for it, he didn't try at all to explain they were for real and said bye. Sounds like a scam to me!

- BrownieCaller ID just said IMS, whoever was on the other end I couldn't understand on account of a thick accent and background noise so loud that it sounded like she was calling me from a factory floor. I just hung up and haven't heard back.

- shawnD78Some guy calls me and asks me a few questions about my income, age and location claiming some body's gonna come to my house on such and such date with a survey or some crap with a chance to win a prize. He had an accent and i couldn't really understand much of what he said. I saw the caller I.D but thought is was something else. I stupidly answered the questions mostly to make him go away. Now i'm worried maybe i gave them what ever missing information they needed or something.

- steph| 1 replyI got a call too. saying I won something. They just wanted my age, income bracket, and to know whether or not I was part time or full time. The info they asked for seemed safe to give out. Like they couldn't use it for anything ......do u think they could use it? Has anybody else found anything out or received any "prizes". Should I call someone?
- get real replies to stephDo you think this is any of their business? Do you think there is actually any prize?
(Hint: both questions have the same answer and it starts with the letter "n") - chuckSame as above ... heavy Indian accent, said I'd win a ford explorer, $25K etc. If i answer 3 small questions. I asked if she knew anyone that won the explorer. she said sure. I started messing with her that this sounded like a scam .. You wouldn't scam me would you? ... she said oh, no no ... cause were friends right? yes, yes .... after that game for a while i got tired of messing with her. I asked for the name and phone number of the winners so i could call and confirm. she said she could give that info out. I said then i can't give any info out. call ended.
