Text asking to call that number re sovereign bank.

Just got a text asking to call this number at Sovereign-Ban Notice. So much for the do not call register list.

Its a scam. It said that your card it's stollen and need to be address. But is a computer. Do not call register list don't work.

Same thing... Sovereign Bank Notice.  I did not call back.

I am very concerned about this.  I believe its a scam. I am calling the actual 800 number from SovereignBank right now.

Just got a text "Sovereign-bank Notice. Please call 406 662 4705".  Ken, let me know what Sovereign says.  There is no way I'm calling some random number sent via text through another unverified number.

Just spoke to Sovereign Bank Lost and Stolen Card department.  It is a SCAM.  Do not reply.  They have received many calls about this since 8am EST on 5/27/12

I too received a text message from an Unverified Sender (8601186386).  The Message says, "Sovereign-Bank Notice. Please call 406 662 2705"  I knew it was a scam because I don't have a Sovereign Bank account.  If you call the number in the text message a computer recording says that your debit car has been stolen.  Press 1 to address or 2 to leave.

From the SovereignBank.com website:

You may contact a Customer Service Representative at 877-SOV-BANK (768-2265), 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, seven days a week.

(However to actually speak to someone today you must select the option for Lost or Stolen accounts)

Received text from Sovereign Bank Telephone number 8601267124, requesting to call 4066624705.

I got the text too.  I don't have a sovereign bank account, so i was suspicious.  thanks to all the comments above for I now know whats going on.

when would a bank call on a sunday morening anyway, i just worried that somehow there is a worm or something that sends back you phone info or can somehow record your phone calls or something.  hopefully they though that i would call and give my debit number to an unverified number that sends me to a computer...

same thing  said for me to call 406-662-4705  with call back number 860-933-8428  i won't call.

Received the same text message. I also do not use Sovereign Bank...now we can get spam txt messages? Ugh. Thanks for all the info.

just got same call saying debit card has to be restated. got a call from enterprise bank last week.Unreal
