Call from some scumbag in India trying to tell me he was calling from Microsoft about problems with my computer.  When I told him he should not be trying to steal honest people's credit card and other information by telling them lies to convince them to allow him to remote into their computer.  He got really mad and called me a [***] among other things.  Don't answer the phone if these guys call.

Called today, 08/28/14 at 4:15 PM did not leave a message

Caller ID read Laurel Mt.  I was asked for by my first name. I responded by saying yes unless you are calling from Montana. They then hung up.

Woke me up..... Wouldn't say anything though the line was live, stupid rude [***]

Same here... some Indian guy called me and told me he was from Microsoft and that my computer has been failing Windows updates.  I've done IT work for 20 years so I played along for a couple of minutes and then hung up and added him to my blocked call list.  I wish I were more witty... would have told him that I'm an attorney for Microsoft and that we don't have any call centers in the 406 area code and I would like to discuss a cease and desist with the owner of the establishment.

Same scam from claiming windows machine giving problem. I don't have any machine at home. Lol. Gave him nice lecture on getting a job and stop scamming people in my country then put it on mute. This call was from India.100%.

Lady called stating she was from AFT and was trying to contact a reference by the name of Jessica White. Same 1st name, however I would not give out my last name. Told her I've never been a white, nor am I white. LoL She apologized and hung up.

A man calling himself Peter Williams, with an India accent . He said he was with the Indiana State Health Dept. I asked him to repeat that, and he did. I told him that the health dept doesn't make calls on Saturday. He said they did. I said I live in Indiana and No, they don't they are not even open and he hung up. Also, caller I.D. said Laurel Mt.

got a call 0n 10/2/14 @ 10:28 a.m. went to machine...no message....from Laurel, MT.

A known relative called: usually, her calls on my caller ID says "Anonymous, Unavailable",
but this time, this Montana number 406-812-3155 is on my Caller ID,
and relative is clueless why that would show on Caller ID.
WHAT's UP WITH THIS?
HOW is someone in CA, somehow causing a Montana number to show up on my caller ID??
On purpose or accidentally??
This happened once before, but I didn't know it was this relative.
When I called that number, some guy said he didn't know how anyone could be using his number, that he lives alone out in Montana.
Crossed wires? Gov't snooping?

Got a call  this morning.  First of all they had a terrible accent.  You could tell they were reading  a script.  Something about my computer was showing an infection. I said really.  I hung up. Beware do not give any info

The scammers "spoof" the phone number on your ID. They use a "dead" number that can be anything. The ID does not show the real number from which the call came.

Land line call with ID of "asterisk". Did not answer and no message left indicating scam call.

Received a call from 1-406-812-3155.  CID was Laurel MT.  I gave it the old one ring pickup and immediate hang up.  Called
3 times today.  I don't mind hanging up on them.

I had this number come up and she claimed she was with Greenberg, Grant and Richards who had be retained by a company that I do have a bill with. I have talked to Greenberg, Grant, and Richards a few months back and informed them to not call me and my attorney would call them in regards to this debt. However she claimed I talked to her a week ago. She only asked for me by my first name. I am now very suspicious since Greenberg, Grant, and Richards is a TX company but this number is MT and that reading all these comments it is used or a variety of companies. Even if I had the funds to pay the debt how can I trust someone with this number?

This person called saying he wanted to talk to me about my computer, I told him I didn't have a computer so he hung up.
