Number is fake - Rick| 1 replyOh, I was able to get through to an operator who actually spoke English. I asked politely to remove my number from their calling list as they were calling my cell phone. She hung up even before I could finish my sentence. I'm going to start baiting these a$$wipes with false credit card info and see if I can get an address revealed to me...

- NickCard Member Services. THEY WILL NEVER STOP CALLING, SO... “GET EVEN”.
When they call press (1) to be connected to “LIVE OPERATOR” (this will waste their time).
They will try and get as much personal information from you as they can – GIVE THEM FAKE INFORMATION. I usually tell them I have 2 or 3 credit cards with a balance of 7k to 15k and interest rates from 15% to 21%, using this method will keep them on the phone longer and you can waste more of their time. At some point they will ask the name of the credit card, toll free customer service number and credit card number with exp. date (many times they will ask for the last 4-digits of your social security number) REMEMBER, DO NOT GIVE “REAL” PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT TO THEM AS THEY STORE AND SAVE ALL INFO.- Caller: Card Member Services

- Anonym| 1 replyAll the Do Not Call List does is; give the harassing scammers, spammers, sellers, etc a list of LIVE phone numbers! This way they dont waste time to call dead numbers. Notice most everyone is on the DNC list is complaining? I have come to understand the DNC data base was made for the callers and the phone companies to sell line usage and to make it easier for the crap callers to spend money wisely and call only good real numbers.
DNC list & complaints filed have NOT, I repeat, NOT stopped these crap callers. They are the ones who use it to their benefit.
Just my thoughts.- Caller: Harass The Masses
- AfricadawgThis is "so and so" from account services. If you want to lower your interest rate .... Press 1 to speak with an agent.
When you ask to be taken off their call list they hang up.- Caller: "Account Services

- Tamianth replies to AnonymYour understanding of the DNC is assumption on your part. The DNC does *not* stop criminals, frauds, scammers extortionists and illegal telemarketers from calling you. The only thing it does is keep the honest company's honest. People really need to actually read the laws and how the DNC works.. read both DNC and also the TCPA! It didn't magically mean all calls would stop nor did it mean it magically catch's the law breakers in a hour like on CSI. The DNC list works the reverse of what you said. That list is a DNC list paid for by the business's and updated regularly. Most of these calling scammers are spoofing numbers, these are criminals and since when does a criminal obey any law? You can also read on both sites the ones they have caught and punished. Also keep in mind that some of the scammers calling are not even in the US..

- P O'edGot one of the calls from 406-825-4254. No answer and the source hangs up on the fourth ring. I do not answer unless I can see the number and know who the call if from. Yep I still get stung some times but I try to consider the source and I see it as an example of those who are lazy, nonproductive, robot driven employee centers with investors wanting to reap big profits. Until we get a law passed that requires the calling party to allow return calls, the problem will always exist. Telephone companies are very capable of software and hardware that will not dial a number if it will not accept return calls. End of my crying. I am off to work so I can support those worthless [***].
