Just got a call from this number. Did not leave message. ID was Glendive MT.

Thurs. Oct.28, called, left no message, id'd as "credit services"

Just got one no one answered like an automated call

I answered the phone when this call came in.  Automated message said it was a message regarding my credit card account.  Press 1 to speak to a live operator.  Pressed 1, and it was NOTHING to do with my credit card acct.  A person from some foreign country told me I qualified for lower interest rates on my credit cards.  Since I already have 0%, I figured it was some kind of telemarketing scam.  After questioning him, he admitted he was from a "financial assistance company" who was trying to sell some kind of debt management services.   I asked him to put me on their do not call list and hung up.  I called the number back (to complain..lol) and a message came on saying "If you do not wish to receive any further calls from us and be put on our do not call list, please press 1."   So I did that too.  They'll probably call back tomorrow.  lol.

I answered after several calls over the past few days went to message machine and left no message;
recorded message said it was about my credit card accounts and that my offer for lower interest rates was going to expire and it was my last chance to get lower interest rates so I should press 1 to speak to an operator.  I  thought about it for a second, realized they did not mention my name or the name of any of my credit card companies so I became suspicious and just hung up; Apparently, I was spared the time waste that Suzi (who made a previous comment) endured ... they'll probably call back even though they claimed, "it was my last chance".

I got a call from this company today.  The said that they were with Visa services and said that they can lower my interest rate on my card.  Seeing that I was ay 14%, I said okay.  They wanted my cc # an I hesitated but I gave it to them since I'm protected anyway from unauthorized charges.  They then had someone else call me back within 30 minutes.  The second call came from 805-357-1666.  They said that can lower my rate to 6% so I said sure.  Then he quickly mentioned that there would be a $1200 charge for the savings...He went over that part very quickly so I had to stop him and ask what for...He said that's their fee.  I started asking more questions such as the name of the company, his name, where they are located + mentioned I would like to think about it all of which offended him and he turned nasty by belittleing me for having revolving debt on my card so I simply hung up.  Would like to know who these people are. They are very shady. Be careful.

This is a scam. All they can do for you is *ask* your card issuer if they'd lower your rate and you can do that yourself for free. Issuers have raised rates for many who were current on their payments (lots of complaints on the net) so why would your issuer lower your rate? This is the classic advance-fee scam. They get a fat fee up front, ask your issuer, your issuer says no, and they vanish with your fat fee in hand.

The US is full of unsophisticated consumers who continue to get fleeced by these scams.  I get five or six African banking scams per week.

Don't give your credit card number to anyone and don't fall for the African bank/airplane crash millions for you scam. The phone number location is a fake.

If you don't bite, pretty soon these guys will have to go back to herding goats.

Just got a call 12 min. ago. Did not answer,  and they left no  message.

I sent an email to my bank and asked if they were responsible for the telemarketing.  They advised that they would shut off all third party marketing for my account.
So email customer service at your bank and tell them to stop,  I hope this works for me and everyone else that may contact their bank and request the termination of third  party marketing.  It is worth a try

I just got a call from this number but didn't pick up because I don't answer telemarketers/scammers.  They left no message.  I am on the national do-not-call list, so they shouldn't be doing this.

Looking at the other people's comments I see that all the calls were received just in the last few days, so this co. must be initiating a new promotion.

I have caller ID. I received a call from Credit Services 406-948-8001 on Nov. 1 @ 12:40 PM CDT. I didn't answer the phone.

Got a call this morning.  Knew it was fishy but I pressed "1" anyway.  Guy claimed to represent several credit cards.  Then he said, "You owe over $3000.  I asked, "What are you talking about?"  Turns out he was a wimp and hung up.  He obviously could not tell me which credit card he claimed I owed that much money to.  lol

Got this same call minutes ago and came on here to check it out. Shows up as Credit Services on caller ID. I dont answer if I dont know who is calling. This must be the new scam of the month....

Robo call rang once, and that's it. Saw the # and checked it out here. Obviously scammers!

Wife received a call from this number ID'd as "Credit Services"...which is a "front" for a scam operated out of California. Am on the Do Not Call Registry as if these idiots would ever check. Hung up. Am reporting them via the Do Not Call Complaint form and referencing this website (as done previously).
