This is a scam. This number texted my boyfriend, who is a business owner, saying they were interested in his services. They said they were hearing imparied and that is why they were texting. They said they were going to send him their credit card number and that he should run it for 2500 over what he charges for his services. Then asked for him to send the 2500 dollars to the person (who claimed her name was Witney). She stated she needed the money to pay her driver who would take her there, because the driver doesn't take credit cards.

We highly believe this was a scam. The person on the other end wanted him to run a stolen credit card, and then send 2500 to them so they were in the clear of using it in public. In the end, my boyfriend would have lost out on the money because he chose to run the stolen card. The person on the other end of the phone is a live person and is very responsive. Please do not buy in to them.

This number is a scam. I received a text from this number that simply said "good morning". Not knowing who it is, I responded with "who is this?". I quickly received this message back:
"I'm Whitney,am hearing impaired.i would love to know if you can handle website design for a new company?"

Definitely a scam. Immediately blocked this number. Do not buy into this.

This caller said they were offshore and needed my services. Her name was Maria Sanchez. And she wanted a fence from my company. I drove to the house to provide and estimate bc she was offshore. She responded to the 7000 estimate by saying she wanted to hire me and just needed me to do her a favor. She said I could run her credit card for 10,000 and she needed me to keep 3500 for deposit and needed me to give the remaining 6500 to the person that owns the house bc she hasn't paid in full yet. Her phone doesn't receive calls...only text. I told her she was shady and blocked his/her texts.

I just received a text message from this same scammer. He is now going by Abraham Smith and texting from phone number 804-459-4498. He contacted me for scuba diving lessons for 6 female family members. This scammer is not creative enough to change the names in his story and how I stumbled upon this blog. The female family members were almost identical names including Jane E. Shaddix. Now his story is that he is hearing impaired and thats why he is contacting by text from the hospital just before surgery. He asked for 10 sessions over 2 weeks and a price quote. I also played back, quoted 5,000 dollars and he assured me was okay with the price and so I was sure it was a scam. He stopped texting quickly after I said it seemed a little strange only to be brought back in when I said "no problem, how can i help you?" Do not give this guy any of your personal info as I am sure he is contacting many more with same crappy story. I really hope this scammer doesn't learn anything from my post but others need to know how to spot him quickly. I will post this as an individual blog and if anyone actually would like to learn how to scuba dive please checkout my site learn scuba with paul https://learnscubawithpaul.com

Can we leave a review that says Paul likes to spam website forums with ads for this business?

    Look Out, Y'all
Just got a text from this number - 407-250-1976.  I've been receiving weird scam texts from different numbers, asking if I accept credit cards and saying they're hearing impaired.  This message was from "Elaine", saying she still wanted my help with "house art works".  The unifying factor in all these messages is poor English.  I looked up the number and found this page, so I replied, "Pathetic scammer, do not text me again."

I got a reply of "[***] you.", twice.

Here's the full message verbatim, poor grammar and all. Enjoy:

"Hello.  This is Elaine.  I still want to know if you're still interested in my house art works.  I'm ready to pay you upfront payment and also want you go check my house with my house initial owner because I'm out of town now"

I myself had a several email long back and fourth with a user named "James Carter" and "James William" interested in my personal training business. Which is kinda strange. I'm not sure if he got my email from my FB biz page or what. Anyways, it's pretty much the same stuff that the previous users talked about. Not sure what the end result of the scam was supposed to be, but just keep an eye out for James Carter and the email address - jamesonly101@gmail.com

So I got this email from a guy name Larry Downing ldowning4321@gmail.com.

The email looked a bit dogey but I proceeded to see where it would go.

I did some googling on these names and soon realized this was a scam. I did not proceed with conversation after the third email as I never do business with someone that I know nothing about.

The this scammer is not creative at all as they use the same names and context.

Below are the 3 emails that they sent me.

    First email:
Greeting's i'm Larry i need to know if you can handle physical fitness training for my family and i also need to know if you accept credit cards as form of payment because i want the best for my family. Thanks

Heather ...(29 years old) Annie A. Johnson... (25 years old)  .. for 1 months 1hr daily 2 times a week, like i said earlier that they will be coming with a private transportation driver for the service. I will be expecting your reply with the total cost and your full name, address and direction for the private transport driver to locate your place when they are coming for the service, Best regard

This is the response I get after sayin what's their best time and contact number for me to give them a quick call to clarify more info. Lol

The credit card number is stolen and will be reversed.  They will pay much more than you want and ask you to wire the money to the "driver".  Then you are out both the money and any fees.
