calls me in Canada.  wtf?

This number is calling my residence in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. So I called it back and it sounds like a fax machine. I thought about sending them unlimited faxes but I don't have the patience.

Received a call on my home phone from that number. This was an automated voice mail offering Time share.

Got one this afternoon in Toronto....they didn't leave a message

Got a call from this number today (I'm in BC). I don't have long distance, so I don't pick up long distance numbers. However, the phone rang nearly 20 times before they stopped calling.

Got a call from that number, asking for people who werent in the house hold and started talking about random things.

now they are calling toronto again

I received one today but no longer answer any 407 area code calls . A few months ago I had several that I did answer.  
This is Orlando Florida area code and it is telemarketers for RCI offering "free" stays and or various other offerings to entice you to come down. ,  In return you have to agree to attend a presentation on RCI timeshares or some kind of vacation package. Supposedly up to 90 minutes but it will drag on .  These are some of the  the most intense high pressure sales pitches you can be subjected to.

Just got a call here in Alberta...Good Friday of all days. Went to voicemail but didn't leave msg

Just received a call at work (Toronto, Canada) from this number. Recorded message for time shares. If you stay on the line, it gives you the option to be added to their do not call list. Press #2 when directed. Hopefully, it will work.

I have repeatedly received calls from various spin-offs and divisions of RCI this one in question originated from 1-407-264-8982 when I answered and the person asked for****** ******** I repeated the name of my company and the call was immediately and rudely dropped so I called back only to find it was linked to a fax line . Since I was a private investigator I decided to do research and here I am it would seem that this tele-harassment is synonymous  with RCI/Wyndham marketing tactics and I have also repeatedly asked that the number ***-***-**** be taken off your call lists this has been going on for over a year so this is the last time that I am asking in writing on the April 20/2012 I am retaining a copy for my records and sending a copy to my solicitor   I would also like to take the opportunity to direct you to a site that has multiple complaints similar to mine  https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-407-264-8982

I received a call from this number and a guy asked for me by my first name and when I said it is I he cut me off.So I checked the number and got this info.I am in Southern Ontario.
