The last week or so, I've gotten #s that result in no posts or very few posts on 800Notes.  Because of that, I'm starting to think the # of [***] scamming people are less than I thought.  They all couldn't have started using new #s at the same time that never showed up on this web site.

So, Rachael, Carmin, IRS, Windows, Solar City, Police Benevolent, Knee Braces, Medical Ambulance chasers could be coming from just a couple of outfits.

I know I've seen posts here when the goober on the other end stutters about what the call was for.  They probably had the wrong script in front of them.

Of course they can, they spoof caller ID for next to nothing so they can change numbers faster than people can change underwear.

For some reason I thought 1 scammer = 1 scam, I'm starting to think 1 scammer = multiple scams and the dbag on the other end has multiple scripts depending on what shows up on a computer screen.  Which isn't hard to believe because legit businesses outsource 1-800  calls to companies and the person on the other end represents the correct company based on the 1-800 # that the customer used.

Doesn't matter how many fake numbers they use. They will always get IGNORED and BLOCKED!
