They are sending me texts and I don't have included texting.  Each one is 20 cents.  I s there a Do Not Text list?

Just texted me 3 times in an hour. Tired of it. states it is VACAP FCU via vtext.

Message in my text says it is the Bank of Blacksburg... Located in VA.. I am a hour from them but NEVER even been in the bank much less had any business with them. Tonight was not the first text that I have gotten from them..

I got 2 text messages yesterday to call 407-347-7900 VACapFCU, and one to call 877-269-6850 New Generations.  The sender was shown as 804310@vtext.com, 407-347-7900@vtext.com, and 804335@vtext.com.

Received exactly the same texts as Diane yesterday....SCAM! 407 number is listed to Charlene Wilson in Winter Garden, FL

Ditto here...way too late @ night and a new worrisome form of spamming!

This is posted on the New Generation FCU website - it's a bank in Richmond, VA

It said to call number 407-347-7900.  SCAM

We got that one too.  Thanks to all of your inputs we know now it's a scam.

Are people really dumb enough to fall for this? and with so many complaints why does the number still work? goes to show nobody cares about stopping this crap as long as they pay their bill.

got a text from 204312345@vtext.com to call 407-347-7900 Resource One-CU).  did not respond

I got a text from 407-347-7900  saying  it was about my debit card  with resourseone credit union , I am not even a member of that credit union!!  I am in Texas , and when I checked that phone number its in Florida!!

I got the same message about Resource One Credit Union. And I live in California, have never lived in Florida *or* ever heard of Resource One Credit Union. I wish I knew how my number was obtained. Because that is who I would take this up with. This is nonsense. What really irks me is that my cellphone isn't a CA area code and these jerks don't call at legal business hours, i.e., I get calls before 9 am. Not cool.

Yes ..... you can bar numbers from texting you. We had to do that.....it doesn't cost anything to do it either. (we have Verizon....no charge). Call your carrier and have it barred.

I also got 2 text this evening one from 204312345@vtext.com to call 407-347-7900 for Beacon-CU and another from 561302@vtext.com to call 616-247-5774 BeaconCU.  I don't even do business with Beacon CU or an credit union for that matter.

Got the same thing as u got Indiana gal. They need to find awsy to stop this crsp.

Obviously a phishing attempt since the same number has different banks/cu.
