An african-american called me, saying me and my family had received a free stay at an RIC hotel & casino because we recently stayed at one. We have never stayed at an RIC hotel, and he was had a bad attitude and was rude.

I didn't answer nor record, so I'll probably see "Florida" on my Caller ID every day from now on.

I received this call today. Said it was from Special T (or Specialty) Travel from Orlando. I have received numerous calls from these people and they keep calling from different #'s. I tell them I am resgistered with Do Not Call and they laugh. They do not take no for an answer and I just hang up.

These jokers aren't affiliated with RCI.  They say "RIC" in hopes you will think they are.  I'm an RCI member, and I believe these callers are some of the nefarious characters that RCI has warned us about.  They pretend to be affiliated with RCI and offer to rent out your timeshare for you, tell you you've "won a free stay" etc. etc.

I asked to have my ph number taken off, and Sean hung up on me!  Just hang up on these folks.  They do call from different numbers.  I have asked at least 3 people to take ny info off of their list; it has not been done.

They offered a "$500 credit"  Today an "$1100 credit"  With that, I gewt to spend $298 for .....90 minute tour - "not a timeshare presentation"  

Dan, the first person who called would not give me a customer service # - he led me on to believe that he woiuld after he ran thru his speal.  He transferred me to "Maks" who tranferred me to Sean (sp?)  African-American sounding male.

I have been telling this company since 2007 to take me off of their phone list and to stop calling me!!!

They REFUSE to do so!!  And no, I have not done any business with them in the last 5 yrs?   My phone number was new to me in 2007.  

I don't answer their calls.

I have them coded in my phone to go directly to voicemail.

I get calls from this number and others in the same area code.  I just add them to my blacklist on my phone app.

Very Informative, thanks for the very descriptive content..... Then again why am I surprised this is America..... I don't know why someone's race has to be disclosed in association with negative comments but thanks again for the information.

These idiots call all the time.   I don't answer these calls any more.  They called this morning at 7 :30   And when I used to answer and nicely ask them not to call, it surely made them call more and later in the evening.     There really should be a law, the DO NOT CALL list is a joke.

Phone at 6 in the morn--then hang up after the third ring--am really getting choked- - -

Got a call from this number, 407-362-1034.  I think it may have been a debt collector.  Have been receiving calls for the last 4yrs, for person that previously had the number I now have.  I do have to say the person was polite when I said "no one here by that name."  He said he would take this number off the list...we will see.

I asked the lady for her number and her bosses number so I could report her to the feds for violating the do not call list (which is a [***] joke it has no power with these people.) and she just laughed at me and continued to be vague about the reason for her call.  My parents are in their eighties and they get at least 20 calls from telemarketers, fund raisers and political parities every day.  My mother has altzheimer's and goes crazy every time the phone rings.  They have had the same phone number for nearly 40 years and ought to be able to keep it without being constantly annoyed.  The phone companies could easily install systems that would block these calls, but these folk are all working together.
