Another 407 area code number 407-373-1547 with "Unavailable" Caller ID.
Nobody on the line.  I hang up and get an immediate call back.  Same number. Nobody one line.  This sucks.

My tip is to never answer the phone if it does not have a specific caller ID. I got a call from an unknown florida caller that asked for my young daughter. Scary...

They call unknown caller, mispronounced my name and then hang up

They called here too but I never answered their call and of course they left no message.  Came across caller ID with no name on caller ID just the phone number..

Far, Far, FAR better advice is to ANSWER THE PHONE EVERY TIME, with a recorder going. Then, find out who the crooks are and sue them. By hiding from an imaginary boogie man, you just let him go on and on and on scaring fools. If you find out who they are, you can collect money. I've personally collected thousands of dollars from illegal telemarketers -- $10,000 for one call -- and will keep on doing it.

First, I have to know who they are. You are no help, and your advice is useless.

When I find out (Through subpoena power of the court.) USEFUL information about who these slimeballs are, and where to sue them, I'll post the information here.

It's a waste of time to deliberately answer each call when it's clearly a number you don't know, in an attempt to "get them on recording" so you can take them to court and "get thousands of dollars"... clearly you need a life as badly as the people doing the calling! And clearly it's just a bunch of kids playing pranks and doing random calling. When you act scared or mad, of course they're going to press 'redail' and mess with you even more. If you don't know the #, and they don't leave a message, it wasn't important in the first place. I'm only googling this number because coincidentally right after they called, I got a separate call from ex-spouse...

received a call from the same number 407 373 1547 my phone does not have call id but i let the voicemail pick up i heard some lady voice saying hello and hanged up.i was curious to know who the caller was i dialed *69 retrieved the number dialed it back was greeted by a computerized voice saying the number is an aligated who are these people or scammers?

The caller ID said Orlando, FL and I was called around 7:20 PM EST.  The man whose name I now forget asked to speak to my real name - the one posted to this is a writing pen name - and claimed he was calling on behalf of a local sports arena in my home area (I live in Ohio, the arena is in WV and he was calling me from FL) and I forget if he said any other name now.  It was a call trying to offer 2 plane tickets to any destination and since it was for two tickets he wanted to know if I was married (I'm not),  I told him I wasn't interested in flying anywhere, my personal life was none of his business and to stop calling me before I hung up first.  Every weird offer of travel I've heard about over the telephone always turns out to be a scam.  I used to get stupid robocalls for ocean pleasure cruises that started with a stupid boat whistle.  This almost reminded me of that except for dealing with some real (Third World sounding accented) person and no boat whistle or recorded voice.

They called me too at August 12, 2011 and said that one of my family member in NY had passed away and then hung up. The crazy thing is I do have family members in NY City, but they hang up and they been calling everyday since

These idiots have been calling continuously for about a year.  They call anywhere from once a week to several times a week.  I've told them to STOP CALLING.  I've SHRIEKED at the very top of my lungs in their ear (if I could get my hands on a whistle, I'd blow it in their ear!!).  I've demanded to speak to the supervisor (to which they immediately hang up the phone).  I have picked up the phone and immediately slammed it down in their ear.  I have now registered with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and if they call after a month has passed, I will file a complaint each and every time they call.

Just recieved a call from this number today. A women asked for a "Mr. Brown" which didn't catch me off guard much, after activating our home phone we've been recieving a lot of calls for this person. Telling her this, she begins to tell me that my phone number has been selected to win 2 free airline tickets for one year to any destination of my choice. That I did not have to use the trip, I could give it away. She mentioned her company name which I believe was Florida digital Network, INC. ??? Never heard of them. I am also in sales [timeshare promotions, representing Bluegreen Resorts and Universal Stuidios] So I began to tell her I wasn't interested that I have dicounted trips. She said well that is okay this isn't timeshare, continuing to ramble on asking about my demographic profile, [ if married, age, etc.]. Again I told her I didn't register for this, she had the right number but wrong person and to select someone else. Getting very rude she said why wouldn't I be intrested this vacation is worth over $1000 and you have a year to use it. I said with all do respect, I told you three times I wasn't interested please take me off I really don't want to get nasty with you. She thanked me and hung up.

Also tried calling back after, and it said that this number was no longer in service...

When we know there is a telemarketer on the line we let the kids get it. Today, my oldest(11) gets on with a British accent and has a cnversation with this lady until the lady said, you sound young how old are u? 12. O, you sound young and British so the lady started trying to talk in a British accent by asking for her mum or daad! LOL
