called at 1115am. I think these calls are from the senior care thieves.

I have received 3 calls today from this number. They call at least twice a week, won't leave a message and the name comes up unavailable...What good is the do-not call list? I wish they would stop, or I will contact an attorney!

Only legitimate businesses follow the do-not-call list.  These people are not legitimate, but rather are thieves.  They usually prey on elderly senior citizens who typically will answer their phone when it rings.  They are after credit card information and whatever personal information the unsuspecting senior is willing to give them.  THEY ARE THIEVES...NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS!

Unfortunately, your attorney is powerless to stop them or do anything to deter them.  And the phone companies are making money off of these low-life scum, so they're not going to stop them either.  All you can do is get yourself a decent call-blocking device.  I did, and now I live in relative quiet peace...they can call all they want, but my phone never rings once I've blocked them.  Best $40 I've spent in a long time!!

I have to get up to answer their call; DON'T say anything and begin repeatedly  to call them back.  That'll give them something to keep them busy for a few hours!  Looks like they would get the message that I do not and will not talk to them.  I have unlimited calling!

Really? Never call these twits back they'll just sell your number to other scammers.

I picked up, but said nothing for about 30 seconds to a minute. Nothing happened, no recorded message. So I hung up.
I've been doing that for known 'Twit' numbers and they seem to call less and less if they get that type of response.

I won't call them back, not ever!

Thank you for the information.  We did the same.  Invested in phones that allow blocking up to 350 numbers on
any handset.  When scammers/phishing calls come in, we aren't bothered.

Also want to remind everyone that the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY is inundated with new numbers every day.
After a period of time your number drops off.  You have to go back to the site and check to see if your number/s
are still registered.  If not, add them back in.  We do so about every 3 months.

Call is a telemarketing scam targeting seniors and selling funeral expense programs.  Area code 407 is for Orlando, FL but caller had heavy Philippine accent with a poor phone connection.

Time of day is  2:48 P.M. today. trying to rest at this time of day. always these unwanted calls . I do not answer them and put them on my rejection list right away. I will not answer or call them back as they will sell it to others. It is very annoying.
One would think they would put a stop to this.  I just don't answer.. They always call either at dinner time or around supper time also.
