Caller ID said Thank You and then the number!  Who is this?

Who is this? I get several calls a day. And they hang up as soon as we answer!

They've called 9 times in the last 6 days including 2x so far today. Interesting that they didn't call on Sunday. ID says Thank You.  I keep my answering machine set to pick up in 2 rings so they can call all they want and I'll ignore.

Stop calling. I am not interested in what you have.

Solicting money for Kid Wish network sounds fishy seems too similar to make a wih network .

Caller ID says Thank You.  I do not pick up the call and they do not leave a message.  It is irritating since they have called several times including on a Sunday.  These are most disturbing since the phone is ringing constantly.  I wish they would stop.

I just recieved a call from this number however it was a not too stable neighbor calling and they left a message.  Not too sure why this showed up as when my answering service gave me the info they gave me the neighbors actual number.???  Maybe it is a secret number crazy people use when they want to trick you into answering the phone!!!  Probably one of those things we will never know/want to know or understand.

I receive calls from 407-476-5544, in which the phone rings, but no one is one the line when I answer.  It has occurred many times and is just annoying/harrassing.

They call constantly. Today someone was actually on the other end, he asked for my husband who wasn't home. He said he didn't have a message for him, when I asked him if he wanted to leave one. The man sounded depressed, which is why I searched to see who called. I guess the guy just hates his job.

I get these calls from 407-476-5544...Orlando, FL is what caller ID says. I don't answer. I usually get another call from another number, a cloned number showing a phone number from my area. But I won't answer those, either. After they hang up, I call the number back, and they are not in service. I think it's a septic chemical company. They've done this to me before.

This number has called several times a day for a few weeks now. They never talk when we answer, just hang up after a few seconds of quiet. The Caller ID always says Thank You.
I'm not sure how to block numbers... but we'd be blocking all the time because we get spam calls a lot, from various groups.
I don't get what these people think is so awesome about prank calls several times a day. If they're wanting to sell something - FAIL.

I answered, had to say hello twice, she asked for me by name, I asked who is this, she said something about "Kid's Wish Network" - I told her to [***] then blew an air horn into the phone.

Since I have started doing this with this type of caller - rather than ignoring and have them continue to call - I don't get called again by that particular "company."

It works every. single. time. regardless of number, company, scam, whatever.  Plus it is satisfying as [***]!

I've gotten multiple calls from this number in the past two days.  The caller ID shows "Thank You" as the caller name.  They never leave a message.

I have an unpublished number and am on the federal and state do not call lists.

Got 2 on August 26th from 407-476-5544.  Did not leave a msg as I did not answer.

I answered the number.  The lady called me by my first name and said that they were collecting money for Kids Wish Network.  I told her I did this through my church, and she kept on  and on, I just said I'll pass and
hung up.

"Thank You" ?

How annoying to be in the middle of dinner and get some suspicious wiseguy calling my landline.
Unsure of who this is or what they want.
