My mother receive a call from 407-506-0403 on Oct. 16, 2008 and the person she spoke to her in Spanish. The woman said that she just had won a trip to California for four people and the only thing that my mom had to do is just pay shipping.... So my mom gave her credit-card  number and later she call to her bank and that compony took all the money she had in the account. The name of the company is Vamos a Vacaciones.com

so did this end up in good news???? did she ever receive her trip?

the same thing happened to me the company is called Destinty Vacations..They are great. They charge shipping and administrative fees and its 399.00 for 3 all inclusive vacations. If your in hotels frequently like I do you would understand how cheap this is. They also sent me coupons with discounts to restaurants around the hotels and other benefits. Maybe your mom misunderstood everything..who knows? good luck anyway.

they call my dad on june 2009 and they said exactly the same, but when he told them that he was going to report it to thge bank and business bureu they hung up on him. and it was the same company and phone number, also the ladies only speaked spanish.

I just got a phone call from 1-801-410-1099  telling me that i have won a thousand dollars, then the woman spoke to me in spanish.... she was very professionally sounding,  and told me i won 3 vacations,  she asked me what kinda credit card i used, she asked for the expiration date and then she proceeded to ask for the security number on the back of the card, when i told her i would never give her that number she said that i needed to in order to win the prizes....   i told her no, so she hung up the phone....   Lucky for  me i asked her during the middle of our phone call for their phone number and she gave me the 1-407-506-0403  number. PLease someone needs to follow up on this criminals and take them down.  please!

They called my mother with this number saying that Obama's stimulus package included learning English, and that she would get $1000 but she had to pay the taxes, which were $299. She said she wanted to cancel, but they said it was already in the system.

I also recived a call saying I won 1000.dollars and two trips one to Florida and Las vegas, all I had to do was give them my debt card to pay for shiping and handling I did, they took  299.99 out of my checking acct even after I told them to cancel this I did not want it. Called my wife who called the bank and closed the debt card now we are trying to get the funds replaced. And yes they claim only speak spanish, even when the bank called no answered.

$299. was deducted from my checking account, I reported this to the bank and they are investigating this as fraud, I never gave one destination my account # or any banking information, no one answers the call # listed, yet the bank gave me 2 other numbers those were 800 numbers and they have no knowledge of the company in Florida.
