Different 407 numbers keep calling me and hanging up when I answer or leave no voice mail. How do you stop this?

The same is happening to me. I use google voice and have been blocking them as I get them, but its supper annoying that they can create random new numbers!

Just got a call from them, didn't answer and did not leave voicemail. Called them right back and said number has been changed or disconnected.

Received this call/number on my work cell and it rang twice and disconnected. Tried looking up the number but no info. I have been receiving lots of calls from the 407 area code (Florida) in the last few weeks. 407-459-6823; 407-737-8947; 407-973-4737; 407-459-4531. Some research advises that these are scams trying to let you know you won a vacation in Florida, but need your info to set you up.

Same thing happened. Got a call on my cell, didn't answer it but when I called it back I got that the number was disconnected.

Just got another call from this number.  SO TIRED OF THEM.  

The times it has gone to my vm, it's some recording of something that I've "won."

I received 3 calls from the numbers you posted. This is all annoying but appreciate that you posted the information.

Here's what I did on my iPhone running iOS 7 - should be same for other phones:
- created a new contact with just +1 (407)
- then went to the block function and blocked that contact
- this should block all calls from area code 407
In a few weeks, I'll delete the contact.  Once these scammers are finished masturbating to this phone list.

they call my cell phone 5 times a day - no one there when i answer - always from orlando, fl.  how do you get rid of them?

Good idea.  Just did the same, hopefully it works.  Have received four calls from 407 numbers in the last few weeks.

Just got a call from 407-514-7137 and they hang up right away. This company should be investigated.

I keep getting hang up calls from 1-407-514-7137. When I try to call it back, it says number is not in service! So annoying.

I think they are collecting some info for example, what phone # is valid, so they can plan for something later... By reading the report here, It's the same pattern.  They should be investigated, but which Fed agency would be responsible, as no crime has been made yet?
