Its a collection agency, SBCS. They usually call you from your local area code to throw you off so you could answer the phone...

This is the 20th or so 407 number calling me.  I've blocked my limit.  Who ARE these people?

Just got a call from them asking me to verify my identity but they hung up when i told them i wasnt gonna tell them my info without them telling me who and what the call was about. DONT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFO.

Collection agency calling from local number

My son just got a call from this number and they wanted him to give his SS#, address, etc. to verify his identity as to a debt from 2007 on a credit card - and he said no info and that he never had credit cards back then - and he hung up.

Recently received multiple daily calls from this number. Asked for my address & to verify my social security #. Which I did not provide neither. They said they were a collection company for a debt for premier credit card from 2005 for a few hundred bucks. Unbelievable.

called on house phone, did not leave message. I am sure this is a collection agency like portfolio recovery.

They keep calling and asking for my daughter which has never been associated with this number

BS Scam call from 1 (407) 545-3431, who won't identify themselves trying to get you to say the word "YES" to questions like "Hello, Hello, Can you hear me?" as soon as you say YES, they then hang up. Some have reported that they ask for personal banking information and if given,
Next thing you know you are getting more calls for offers and from nasty debt collectors for current or previous owners of your number. Also watch your bank account and credit cards too for unapproved orders and purchases.
I've heard this is a disguised call from India.
Each time I delete or block these numbers they call back from a closely related number, also disguised.  This private unlisted number is on the DNC list which doesn't work by the way,
