I got a call from this number while I was napping, so I let the recorder catch it. The party listened to my long recording, but didn't leave a message. I did a *69 when I got up, and was suspicious that it was a junk call when I saw that the last four numbers were identical. Glad to find this website and learn that it was yet another unwanted solicitation that always seems to come in at inconvenient times.

I get this same call almost every day.  I have reported them to national do-not-call registry many times.  I have asked them to quit calling, but they keep it up.

Yet another call from "Cardmember Services." If you get a call from these guys, lead them on as if you are interested, or else they will hang up on you as soon as they realize you're not gullible enough for them. Tell you you have at least $5K of credit card debt or they might hang up on you as well. But do not give any concrete information such as your credit card number. Just enjoy yourself in wasting their time as long as you can, as they have wasted yours. I was able to string them along for 11 minutes once, telling them I was interested in lowering my rate, but asking all kinds of naive questions along the way like how does it work, etc. They wanted to do a 3-way call to have me log onto my account and verify the account balance with them on the phone with me. They say they don't need my credit card number because they have me key it in while they're on the phone with me. But duh, they can hear the dialtones which are unique to each digit so it's not hard for them to figure out your number from the dialtones.

Every year I update and register the No Call List for our home number and cell phones and I cannot get rid of this number, it is a bogus number...you cannot call them back and they seem to come around about every three months averaging two calls a day every other day for about two weeks straight!  There must be something that can be done about this about it and if anyone has any suggestions...please post!!!!!!!

Received a call just like the ones above from "Card Holder Services." Redial results in a phone company response of TSL02.  When I told the representative to identify her company, she hung up.  Cowards.  I hope the Florida attorney general finds out who these people are and prosecutes them. Reported to DoNotCall, as well.

I answered my telephone, which said "Out of Area" but gave me the number anyway. Immediately it went to a recording, talking about lowering the interest rate for my credit cards. But the recording would not state what company they were from.

I pressed "0" and a representative came on. I had just one question. What company is this calling me? I must have a name.

The rep., said, "would you like to have your interest rates lowered for the end of the month on your credit cards?" and I said, "Maybe, if you tell me what legitimate company this is."

    They hung up on me.

Always find out what company is calling you, if you have a card with them, and if a legitimate phone number shows up on your caller ID. If not, do not give them any information.

These people need to be stopped.  I called the FTC last Friday and told them about these scammers.  I've had calls from them using many different numbers and caller ID's but always the same line:  Last chance to lower your interest reate.  Want to stop them?  Then everyone call the FTC so they get enough complaints to do something about it.  Complaining here doesn't do much except make you feel better.  When I spoke to the FTC, I gave them all of the following numbers:  Google them yourself to see if I'm lying, then keep track like I do and call the FTC----- repetitively!!!
