They call and said that I won a trip to Disney Land, FL. They had my name somehow after I had went to a local fair. I called the number but no one is ever there. Callers name was Kim with RTA.

Received voice mail from Kim at RTA saying she has been trying to reach me w/ the good news that I had won a free Disney trip from something I signed up for at the Tulsa State Fair (7 mo. ago). Thankful for sites like this so I could quickly determine that I would not be retuning the call.

Apparently won a trip to disney plus Daytona beach.
4 days at "Disney main gates"? pretty vague and the rest at "Daytona Beach" again vaugue.
we must pay for our own flights plus a $199 fee per person.

Has time share ploy written all over it to me.
    We didn't book.

haha oh yes, and they also offered to provide a tape recorded receipt and a reference number.
tape-recorded really? no email confirmation or printable doc?
    No thanks.

Same here, got a message saying that she had been trying to reach me and that she got my name from "the fair."  That would've been 10 months ago, and I'd never been contacted before.  She also said her name was Kim from RTA (or RCA, couldn't quite make it out).  Needless to say, I won't be calling back after reading the other posts.

Well my wife called the number after 5pm.And we found out that when you win a "FREE" Disneyland Vacation from RTA spokesperson Kim,really means you ONLY pay $498,plus ONLY $198 per person which is no where even close to being "FREE".Oh and btw, nice sales pitch "Free Disneyland Vacation".I myself don't know anyone who would even consider your "FREE" offer after you being so obviously fraudulant and misleading even if it was a deal.Everyone i talked too just had to laugh hahaha.A idiot is born everyday, but you called the wrong number Kim or whoever you are....

I also received the same call from kim saying i've won a free disneyland vacation after a car show also.Hell everybody probably wins theses drawings or raffles. They just call them all hoping to screw at least a few people that fall for their bull****.And get this, i've researched this kim person and she lives in Celebration,Florida and uses a cell phone. No reputive business will call you from a cell phone and say you have won a free vacation package saying they have been trying to reach you for awile, but in all reality it's the first time they have called you lol.Scam period.Don't fall for it.

Yeah also if it was truly legit and she worked for RTA,why not give your full name?hint, hint.I hate fraudulant people and their hairbrain scams to screw gullable people out of their hard earned money. But you know what "KARMA IS A MF" and it will come back one way or another, eventually.

I also got a call from Kim at RTA stating she had been trying to get ahold of me. Said i had won a trip to Disney World from a boat show I had been to 7 mo ago. Thankfully, my sister thought of looking the number up on here and was able to let me know it was a scam. I will not be calling her back. Thank you to everyone for posting info.

My girlfriend got the same call last nite. The lady on the phone said she would call back because it was company policy to speak to both of us at the same time and i wasn't around then. Thought it was suspicious that they would offer a trip that was 80% paid for... a free trip is free, not 80% off.
