- DanI just received a call from 407-563-8282. As I have received hundreds of calls recently from the 407 area code, I no longer answer. However, I did try to call them back, I was so mad and when I did, I got a recording that said the number is no longer in service. Obviously, that wasn't true since they just called. When these calls first started, I asked them nicely not to call me again, it fell on deaf ears. I hate these people and I can assure them, I'll never give them any business. They are harassers and should be shut down.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- bill johnsonSame thing just happened to me
- SteveAlso getting calls from this number lately. They left a message but it was just incoherent talking in the background and some computer noises. Calling it back just gives me a number not in service message.
- Caller: ATT LOCAL NETW
- DeeSame thing happened to me. Stopped answering since no one has been on the other end.
- RamReceived twice so far. Called back with no pick up on the other end
- Frank| 1 replyMost likely it is a time-share operation. The call originates from Orlando, the time-share capital of the nation. The name associated with the number changes, so it is likely a scam-operation. Don't answer it and block the call if your phone has the technology.

- Michelle replies to FrankThat would be really interesting to find out if any of you other posters happen to be time share owners. I am, and I have received this call twice now, but ignored it.
- StanWe received a call from this number and we are a time share owner.
- Caller: ATT Local Net
- lynnYep, same number. I used to have a timeshare and I sold it. I get these calls constantly. Weird thing is I always pick up (I want to know why they are friggin calling) and I NEVER get a response on the other end.
- aggravatedI own a time share - KUDOS to the person who sold one - didn't know that was possible. Why do people call just to hang up? Makes me wonder
- Caller: unknown
- kmmThis is so ridiculous..we lost our timeshare due to finances and this business keeps calling asking if we would like to sell our timeshare!!!! I blocked the number but they are starting to call again (hadn't gotten to the phone in time so I called the number, surprise, surprise it is a non working number. Blocked it again, what a joke!

- Jules in San Antonio replies to WayneToday I had had enough, I receive the same type of call described here, I get the calls about 2 to 3 times a day from this reported same number. Never anyone on the line and never comes on the line, then about 5-10 seconds later a computer voice tells me “Thank you” and hangs up. When call back I get the same message that, the number is disconnected.
I looked up AT&T on line and called them to have them research, as I have not been an AT&T customer for almost 20 years. Their response was to tell me I had to go to the online Do Not Call list and add my number. I have been on the Do Not Call list since its inception and have even renewed it when I was supposed to and within the past 6 months. I told them “NO”, they had to fix it. Therefore, a supervisor is now telling me I have no other option. When I threatened legal action because they are the ones breaking the Do Not Call list I finally had some makeshift promise for it to be taken care of. Just had to go through a 45-minute wait for them to do nothing but tell me the number is not an AT&T number then hung up on me.
Although, I received completely inadequate service from AT&T, the representative was very courteous and did try to assist. She simply had never received a call like this and she and her supervisor were uncertain as to how to handle the incident. I assume that after I was hung up on instead of being placed on hold, some sort of action was taken. Just have to wait and see … Jules in SA - LesReceived the 3rd phone call today. I picked up and no one would answer. The other time it was a timeshare - something about selling a time share. Going to report this number to the FTC. My number is on the Do Not Call list. Not sure how the caller obtained my number.
- Caller: Don't know
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Caller: ????????
- Constantly interruptedThe business owners should be hunted down and dealt with. Torture would be acceptable to me in these cases as well as a $1500 fine for each call to someone on the DO NOT CALL list. Just my opinion.
