Credit scam

Caller ID showed CONSMR DEBT RLF and left answering machine message with something about this is your final notice under the financial stimulus.  I hope it is my final call from them, but I doubt it.

It could be if you can stop them from leaving messages. Pretty hard to hear anything besides a ringing phone if there's no kind of answer. That's a quick way to make your number real unpopular for nuisance callers. I used to get swamped with the "final notices from cardmember service" until I turned the answering machine off on my landline. I certainly haven't heard from any junk callers in a while.

Repeated calls daily on cell never leaves a voice mail. Unplugged landline after husband passed so no more ringing there. Would disconnect landline but Windstream insist I keep it for Internet service out here in the country.

Called my DNC registered landline. No voicemail.

The service provider is the Peerless network. Peerless only seems to exist to host the credit card scammers.

Called my cell phone and left message; turned out to be the latest incarnation of the interest-rate scam.

Robocall - left half message about final notice and loweing interest rates or some such nonsense. Blocked. Don't even answer this call.

Get a call blocker.

# Just called...I hit "TALK" then "OFF... try to do this on 1st ring.  I do this all the time with unrecognized #'s.  Would like to think that the phone bots think it’s a dead # if it disconnects immediately.  Try to have a portable phone with me all the time.  If it's a legit call, they call back.  Then I pick-up.  I always have 30 #'s on immediate block.  Older Panasonic phone system gives you 30 blocks.  Over 3 years have accumulated over 300 blocked numbers.  I have been on the “DO NOT CALL REGISTRY” since it started 13 years ago.  What a JOKE !!!  Have had my phone # for over 20 years, may just have to give it up.

Called work number on a Saturday (duh!)...left no message.  Identified as originating from Geneva, FL

robocall on landline from   407-602-6016 caller ID said "CONSMR DEBT RLF" on Friday 7-01-16 @  537 PM

another call from Rachel's ugly sister Carmen from card services........saying they would lower my interest to as low as 6.9%...........
pressed 1 and a female came on the line.
Scammer asked me "are you calling about lowering your interest?"
No I am here to call you an expletive expletive
I then started the "SCAMMER AIRHORN" and she hung up quickly

I put the Italian Curse on the person that is a scam artist.

caller left the following message: "...eligibility for lowering your interest rate to 1%..."
number is now blocked

Message on my mobile - half message about debt relief. Blocked.

Our health care Insurer has a contract with Caremark to be our mail order prescription supplier. The caller ID for Caremark is "1-800 service".  So when we got a call this morning with that caller ID, we answered it. It was a heavily accented person we couldn't understand, so we hung up.  Within ten minutes, this number called and the phone rang 40 times before they quit. I know this comment doesn't help anyone, but it does show how they either pass "good" numbers on to their fellow crooks, or immediately spoof a new one.  Call blockers provide only temporary relief, since as they figure out that a number is blocked, they spoof a new one.

CONSMR DEBT RLF as others have reported. I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.
