missed a call from this number. No message was left so I called back. An auto -recording said something about a verification call regarding a recent order...

We got the same calls - got dial tone when we picked up.  4 times in one day.  Called back and got a recorded message saying they were calling to verify an order and would call us back.  Very strange...

same with me but i don't answer and i don't call back. i just want to know who it is.

Got the same thing--Answered, nobody there.  Google Cache says it is a known telemarketer of some sort, but you have to sign up to the site to get details.

I know exactly who this is because I was expecting the call when it came in.  It is the third party verification for Time Warner cable services which confirms recent order with them.

Called several times - left no message.

On vacation in Hawaii - so this nuisance call from Florida comes in at 3:00am...4am...5am. Coming in to my cell phone so it can't be blocked.

I have been getting calls from this number for a week, several times per day.  No messages left.  I do not answer since I have no idea who this is.

Have been getting call from this number (407-670-0452) on my cell since day before yesterday - 5 times a day.

Isn't there anyone who could put a stop to this number?  

It seems this has happened to a lot of people.

I get phone calls from 407-670-0452 ALL the time!! Can't it be stopped?

Time Warner cable 3rd party verification. They check to verify authenticity of changes with your service after you have mad them.

I get calls several times a day from this number. I don't answer and they don't stop calling. The (407) is Central Florida area code(Orlando area). I see on here that "Third Party Verification" came up on their caller I.D.: I get calls from them saying that if I want to continue getting a cheaper rate on my cable and internet, I need to give them a lot of my personal information and committ to a two year contract or pay $150.00 to discontinue service prior to the two years. I wouldn't committ and they won't stop hounding me, yet I still have the cable deal...Also get calls and mail trying to collect on an old AT&T bill that if I owed it, AT&T would collect it before continuing my services. I reported it to AT&T but they seem unconcerned that their company name is being used in a scam. Maybe all of these companies are one and the same.

It's phone Vonage customer service.

Time Warner 3rd Party verification. To confirm an order. Questions are intrusive and have nothing to do with the order completion. I asked for a supervisor and then asked why do they need my date of birth when I have been a customer for 15 years? He said because they need to port the phone number for new digital service. I asked how that matters if the existing phone company doesn't have my DOB. He hung up. Not a very well thought out process on their part.

I signed an agreement yesterday with Time Warner Cable of SC to change my cable service to a lower plan with a 2 year commitment.  So it makes sense if a call comes in to confirm it.  However, I didn't answer the phone and no message was left on my answering machine.  Annoying since the only way that I'd know that the call was legit was by looking it up on a site like this one.  (I'll save about $20 per month off my current rate.  If I cancel early, I'll pay up to $150.)

I keep receiving calls from this number really early in the morning, woke me up this morning! They claim they are time warner cable calling for verification to a recent order. However, I've had time warner cable for a couple months now and already verified my information when I set everything up. I'm not giving out my info, and the people calling are unable to give a reason for them needing my personal information. Today has me upset enough (woke me up at 7am when worked 2nd shift last night so didn't get to bed till 2am!) that I'm going to call time warner and find out what this is all about! Will post if I get a response. I would advise not giving out any personal information unless the companies name is on the caller id!

I found out that once you move or add new services to your existing phone, internet or cable account the phone company is required to send you to an independent third party verifier. This company will ask you a set of personal questions mandated by the FCC so that they can prove in a court of law that they did infact receive your approval prior to changing your services. the reason for the call backs are because Time Warner requested this company to reach out to the customer for a period of 50 days in order to confirm your order.
