It is a credit card solicitation scam. It was an automated machine telling me they could lower my interest rates and to press one to speak to an agent. I hung up.

Got the call on my android phone.  Added it to the call-filter app's blacklist.  It is now blocked.

Received a call from this number today as well. Did not pick up.
I get many random debt collector calls for people with diff initials and bday then mines
But they still harass me.  Thank Goodness for Callerid!

someone trying to lower my interest rates - love to know how they're gonna do that, when I'm already at 0% !!!   unlike some others, this one only gives you the option of pressing 1 to speak to someone.  others I've received also have t 3 to allow you (supposedly) to be removed from their calling list.

Got a call from this number minutes after I gave 678-294-8902 (Elec. Power Assoc. telemarketers) a piece of my mind.  I wonder if when you are rude to one of these other number if they retaliate by passing your number along to other scammers.    I didn't answer the phone this time.

I just got a call (and have received many over the last few months from FL) on what I'm sure is a credit card scam. I'm on the DO NOT CALL list. Why are these dirt bags able to call someone on the list? How do you report them??

I just got my ??th call from this phone#.  This time, I pressed #1 to speak to an operator, who asked if I was calling to lower my rates.  I replied that I was merely replying to an unsolicited phone call .... at which time the operator simply hung up!

This company has called at least 30times.  Always say this is their last call.............I answered today, told her I am on the National Do Not Call Registry and she hung up.

8/15/11  10AM - No message after listening to my recording.  Lately I receive DAILY phone calls from different phone numbers - sometimes a robo message is left regarding my credit cards and lowering the interest rate.  I have one credit card and do not carry a balance.  Total scam.  I never answer unknown numers.  They robo dial and if you answer then they know they received a real phone number and will most likely sell your number as being 'live'.
