Received a call on my cell...no message

Hilton hotel reservation

Caller did not leave a message. I called the number. It is Hilton. They are soliciting for vacations. They got my number from their rewards program roster. Told them that was not cool. And if they needed to get in touch with me in the future to send an email. NO MORE CALLS.

This is from Hilton Grand vacation...they do not leave a message and when you call back it just says Hilton Grand vacation.

Returned the call and pressed 2 to be removed from their call list.  Hilton Honors program for "grand vacation" - very annoying and pesky.

Keep receiving calls from this phone number on my cell phone. I'm registered in Do Not Call registry

Hilton Hotels - Honors program. Says I get a free vacation. Got my number from my Hilton Honors account. I am not a Hilton Honors member!

Forgot to mention - caller knew my name!

I just received a call...  I told them I need something sent to me in writing before we'd continue the discussion.

Just received a call the this number... consistent with what everyone else is saying. Knew my name and said I got the award due to stay over the past 18 months.. asked when I stayed and he said that was confidential. I told him I would like his number so I can call right back and he said he cant provide one.

Seemed very fishy to me as I used to work for hilton and these type of calls never existed...

Same as above and agree about this apparent phishing attempt. That these yahoos have access to personal information is indicative of poorly managed files at Hilton. Contacting Hilton directly to get their take. Will post it...

Called the Hilton Customer Support line 1-855-271-3617. Spoke with a gentleman named Bob who confirmed these calls are legitimate and authorized by Hilton Grand Vacation Club which is one of their marketing firms. Okay... wonderful. .. but still would stick to email as a written record if anyone chooses to consider this offer.

I had to tell the guy five times I was not interested and then he hung up on me.  Not effective marketing at all.

They call me every day.  How do I get them to stop?

I have a cell-phone and I do not answer unknown numbers.  Someone called today at 3:21 PM and did not leave a message.  My phone number is registered on the national Do Not Call List and I reported this call to them.  Based on this website I don't think I want to talk to them.  This number has been added to my reject list.

I returned the call and it took about 15 seconds to have the lady remove me from their call list.  Still, I agree that it is shabby marketing - a la the ever-invasive "Canadian Pharmacy."   I expect much more from Hilton and find this disappointing.
