We got a call today from this number at 2:16 pm when we weren't home, and no voice mail message was left. The caller ID was "Florida". When I called back a recording said the number has been disconnected. This to me indicates a spoofed number.

Got the call today at 12:21 pm at my work phone, picked it up after the first ring.  Said hello a couple of times and the call was disconnected.  The caller id indicated "FL ST OF".  Same here, called it back and found the number disconnected.

Yeah, I just got the same call.  "FL ST OF", said hello, and the call was disconnected.  I wish I knew for certain whether this is a valid phone call since I don't want to block a potential client call.  

I get upwards of two dozen telemarketing calls a day--I have blocked 40 numbers through my phone service and my Panasonic phone.  But I need to be able to block hundreds of numbers because these guys keep changing, use spoofed numbers and sell my phone number to other scammers and telemarketers.  

Well, I think I'm going to block this one.  It does appear to be spoofed.

Says FL State Of - A true government call would say "Florida Gov."  This has got to be a scam.

Just missed a call from this "no-name" number -- didn't ring long.

No name, rang 2x. Something gives me a bad feeling about this number - probably some jack@zz dead-debt-that-isn't-even-anyone-who-lives-here's-debt calling. Blocked.

Our house rule is, "If we do not recognize the caller, we do not pick up the phone."  We make NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule!  When the caller ID showed FL ST OF, we let it go to voice mail.  The caller did NOT leave a message.  This is likely some sort of scam.

Got same phone call and it ran 5 times. Do not know the number so I did not picked up and no voice mail left. The caller id says ORLANDO nothing else

No answer when I picked up and you get a recording saying the 'number is disconnected'.

Same here, nobody on the line.

Good advice.  If you don't recognize the number, let it go to voice mail.  If it's important enough, they'll leave a message worthy of a callback.  If not, store it to "trash" file with a silent ringtone.  Empty the file at a later date.......like 2025.

I didn't recognize the name or number so I didn't pick up.  It stopped after the second ring, no message.

What a bunch of scammers!

Since Kansas uses "KS State of" on Caller ID, I thought perhaps it was legit and I do have elderly family members in 407 area code. So, I answered.  

Recording. The parts I caught were: "Congratulations!  You have been selected...amazing trip...Orlando, Florida...your claim number is 454....to claim this trip...".  I hung up.

Received call from this # 10:52 a.m. 10-8-13 - Didn't answer; no message left.  I assume all unrecognized #s that do not leave a message are telemarketers.

I NEVER answer unknown calls of any kind and this one went straight into my blocked caller list. I am loving my Digitone! Y'all should really invest in one of these things. It's awesome!

Orlando, FL - 2 rings then gone.  Definitely spoofed or auto dial. No term end in translations.

Got the call today Oct 9, 2013 and 10:50 am on my home phone, picked it up after the first ring.  Said hello a couple of times and the call was disconnected.  The caller id indicated "FL ST OF".
We have a no solicitation greeting where the caller is informed that we accept no solicitations and to remove our number from their calling list. The caller then must dial a 1 to be put through, so this appears to be more than just an auto dialing bot. Placed this number on the blocked list.
