This is a scam!  Please do not stay on the telephone with the caller!  DO NOT listen to anything the caller has to say...simply say you are contacting the police and hang up.  Share this story with your friends and family.  KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.....

As officer Glisson stated above this is a scam. Hang up and call the police.  The caller will advise that they have someone held hostage and if you pay $$ they will release them. Please do not fall for this, call the police. I got on the phone with the caller and asked his name, his answer was "Freddy Krueger".  Real original..

I received a call from this # telling me my husband was being held hostage and that if I hung up, he would kill him, he asked me to pay him 6 thousand dollars and then I figured something was up, please do not fall for this prank!

So what exactly is the hold up tracking these people down? Obviously you don't want someone to take the law into their own hands. It will be a good idea to put some more effort into this and get to the bottom of these prank calls

They Called my wife while I was at work. Asked for 6k said I was in an accident and hit a kid and they beat me would kill me if no money.

We just got a call from this number stating that a relative had been in a car accident in a city several miles away.  However I just saw them less than five minutes ago.  The caller did not ask for money but asked for my name and the type of car I drive and if I knew anyone that drove a Nissan Altima and the wrong color.  This is a cruel prank.

Someone called my sister in law from this number.  They stated that her brother was being held with a pistle and needed 4k dollars.  They said the brother had worked on his mrcedes and there was an accident that killed the callers 13yr old daughter.  
Call the police if you get calls from this number!

A guy finally said his name is Brian called me today from 407-756-6440. I did not know this page yet and almost got trapped to his trick. Similarly, he said my brother involved in a car accident which hurt hist little girl seriously. His brother and mine fighting and his brother pull a gun then hit to my brother head and unconscious him. He asked me to pay 3000 otherwise, he kill my brother. Finally, he went down to 1000. I already sent money ( how stupid I am) but luckily my co-worker told me to stop and AMSCOT was able to refund my money. I report to Orange County Police ,and other website. Hope police can find out these bad guys soon.  We should never pick up strange number.
