They say I owe them money and that I will be going to jail

States a payday loan was received and never paid back. Has some information but not enough and tries to coax it out of you. States they are filing an arrest warrant for you in three days if you dod not respond (which they cannot do). Gives a name and states he is an attorney (Steven Jones). Research on the Florida Bar website shows no such attorney. Sent the number and "name" to Florida Bar as it is a crime to misrepresent yourself as an attorney. Hangs up once I asked for his Florida Bar number.

I too was threatened with an arrest warrant because I was supposed to have received a pay day loan for $7000 and didn't pay it back.

This number has been calling me too.  I also research the so call company and found nothing.   I have contacted my local authorities and gave them all the different phone numbers that they call on.  They also recorded the voice mail that was left on my hone phone and work phone.  Now let's see what happens to them!

I, too, have been receiving harassing and unwanted calls from a Steven Jones with American Law Enforcement.  It does sound like he is reading a script.  At one time, he asked for clarification from one of his partners (I assume) on what he was supposed to read.  In any case, he has been calling my work number as well.  I know that this is a scam on every level.

Caller has a thick Indian/Iranian/Iraq accent, and leaves voice messages on my phone, and work phone, and states he is Steven Jones, the attorney with American Law Enforcement, and advises that I have lawsuits against me for payday loans that I have not paid back, and provides me SS#. States that if I do not contact them, then my file will be handed/escalated to another department that will file charges with my local county, and sheriff's office to have a warrant issued for my arrest. Other research that I have done, states that when he is asked for his bar number and other identifying information, he becomes angry and hangs up on callers. I never answer the call, I always let the caller leave a voice message so that I can make reports against this caller/company, and have the authorities listen to the message. I have filed a fraud report with the Federal Trade Commission. Will also file with my local authorities as well.

Called me and left nasty messages - then tried to call my work!  I sent a message back letting them know that I have reported them for harassment and fraud and if they contact me again they will have charges brought against them

I also received a couple phone calls starting that I committed fraud and if I don't give them or him money that I need to go turn myself in at the County Jail, I have been trying to figure out what this guy was talking about. Now when I Googled the phone number I can see other's have been receiving the same call. I contacted the local Police department and it appears that they will not do anything about these harassing phone calls, leaves me frustrated!
