    Victim of Fraud
    I was recently the victim of identity theft and today I received a text from 4077924670 saying that I should call regarding a Banking ALERT. Afraid it might be a hack number, but it could be legitimate under the circumstances.

    Something's Fishy
    Just got a text on my cell to call 4077924670 regarding a banking alert.

    I have NEVER given my cell number to any financial institution I do business with.  No banks, no credit cards, etc.  Don't even check my balances from my cell phone so they didn't get the number from caller ID.

    Called the number from the landline in my office and it says that the number is no longer in service.

    Something Isn't Right
    I got a text message from this number as well about a "banking alert". I don't know what's up with this, but judging by the other posts here, I don't think I'll be calling them.

    I recieved a text from this number saying i have a banking alert...called number from land line and I got a recording about an "H & R Emerald Card"
