Got a text message from 512-123-3743 to call this number.  Immediate attention required.

Got the same message as a txt on my cell.  Did you call?

Telemarketer....

Just called this #. Answering mach " the person @ ext. 5102 is not available. Leave a message or press the pound sign". ??? I figure if its really important they will try again. This #was originally sent in a text message from 512-123-3743@vtext.com.

This automated message instructed me that there was an error with my debit card.  It wanted me to give them my 16 digit debit card number.  Yeh right!!

Thanks for posting! I just got the text message and did a search and found this blog. What's sad is that many people are too trusting and might fall for this scam!

I called using my virtual phone number (not the number they used to text me), and got the voicemail message.

Same thing here.  Your attention is required.  Deleted it.

My number is on the no call list.

I got this today as well, from 584333743@vtext.com  For what it's worth, vtext.com is a service provided by Verizon Wireless that lets you anonymously send a text message from their website, without needing a phone.

Obviously spam/scam, not sure how they got my number
