Credit card monitoring service/scam.

phone rang and I answered it. The voice on the other end was telling me that it was not a valid extension and then hung up. I called back and it is supposedly not a working number.

Same as others reported above...ran the number down it is a "credit monitoring" debt/interest rate reduction scam. Add them to your blocked numbers.

Unsolicited call and I am on the Do Not Call list.  I didn't answer, but when I called back from my office phone it says the number is not a working number.

If you have caller-ID and don't recognize the number, you should NOT answer it because:
1.  if it were "real" and was important, they would leave a message.
2.  if it was a TELEMARKETER, picking up the phone confirms to the COMPUTER DIALING PROGRAM, that your phone number is valid and can now be SOLD to other marketers!

I get calls from these people all the time and they call from different phone numbers. I must have at least 10 numbers stored in my phone from them. I'm on the do not call list. I receive mail from them. So today, the guy called about a 2012 car that I no longer have and told him that. Then he wanted to know what type of car I have now. LOL  These people are complete idiot morons!!!!! Of course, I told him to take me off their list and STOP calling me. He hung up. Can we say psychopath . . . . .

My call was about Medical Supplies.  I have started answering with 'I am so glad you called because I want to tell you about my Savior, Jesus Christ!  Have you heard of Jesus?'  This lady said she had.  I told her didn't need any medical supplies but call me back anytime she wanted to talk about Jesus.  :)
