This number is calling the UK now, claims to be from "The Empire Group", would not elaborate on why he was calling.

Empire Group from Lockart, FL. near Orlando, Will only ask for owner and never leaves message.

They even call the owners of businesses that are not trading or have never traded or have never registered any profits. So they are not calling you because they have performed any significant research into your company.

I get repeated calls from these blokes regarding different investments.  I agreed to take a look at the paperwork one time, and they sent only a signature page.  To me, that is a red flag.  I was called by a Ron Eiger.  A simple google search for Ron or Ronald Eiger yeilded articles on numerous lawsuits and investigations.  Many legitimate investments are available rather than investing in these "pre-IPO" deals and penny shares.

I am based in Ireland, and got a call from that number today (17 May 2011).  Claims to be The Empire Group.  Offering Financial Advice.  Asking for the owner of the company.

Yep, call is from "Empire".  But ya know....we never answer this phone.  So they can call all they want.  I hope they enjoy the answering machine (which we also don't check).  I think this is the same fool that called and asked if we had enough money to invest in some crap they were selling.  We do, and we're keeping it, thanks.  Thank you, other posters!
