Called my office no message

Caller didn't leave any message, so I called back and the person who answered said I made a loan on line and I have never made a loan on line. Just another Scam to try any scare the elderly into payiong money to them. The FBI should look into these types of Scams!!!!

its a scam i got a call from this number today asking to speak with my wife.  the guy said his name was chris bennett. supposedly he was calling from simmons smith and associates.  it was for a loan that i never applied for over the internet.  once i asked for a case number and  why we never got subpena he hung up.

These people called me saying I had a case against me for some pay day loan I do not have.. Report these people immediately they are scammers.

These people called me claiming to be Simmons & Smith Associates stating that I owed them money from a loan that I never took out with "PaydayYes". They told me that I had to send them my 6 months previous bank statement in order to prove to them that I never took out and that it never got deposited into my account. They knew my DL# and account number....Scarey! I contacted the Attorney General's Office and they told me what to do. Report these people...it is a scam!

I got a call from them today. They have all my information as well, any advice on what i should do next? (definitely glad I did not send them the information)

I just got a call from them saying I had a loan from Payday YES - which I don't and they wanted me to send them $450 dollars.
 they say they are Simmons, Smithg & Associates.

I told them to send me a copy of an original loan document and proof of deposit or do not call me again as this was a fraudelent claim and any further attempts to contact me would be harrasment and I would file a police report.

Will be reporting to Attorney Generals Office today.

I have attempted to call this firm, and they are absolutely a scam!  DO NOT give them any account information, western union, pre-paid credit card, or other means of payment.  

Also, beware of the creditors that call you with foreign accents.  Usually they say that they are from a law office.  They will be very vague, and not have the name of your actual payday loan companies.  
There is NO debtors prison in the US.
They are NOT sending the Police to your workplace, home, etc..

The called me and left a message saying they were calling regarding a case that came across her desk. I called back to see what the case was and she said I owe 700$ on a bank loan. And I asked which company I took a loan from she said they have sold the company to 4 different companies and that she needs a bank statement for proof that i didnt take a loan out of the bank. Ive already been called by a scammer once before so as soon as i got on the phone with her i knew that it was another scam.

I get a call from Simmons Smith and Associates... They knew the name of my bank and the last 4 digits of my account number. They said I got loan from My Cash Now. com for $450 and they are attempting to collect the debt or I could be garnished/ sued..They knew where I worked and everything.... I dont knew nothing about My cash now... they requested my bank statments back to January... I felt uncomfortable giving them futher information so I googled MyCashNow and they said they didnt have any of my information on file and they believe its fraud. When I called Simmons Smith and Associates back they lady started getting an attitude with me.. I told her that before I sent her anything, I will need somthing in writing. I told she called me and I don't know MyCashNow, neither do I know them.  So I will need proof.  She asked if  I wanted to speak with a supervisor.. I said yes.. and I was put on hold for over 10 minutes... They will have to just atake me to court. I have the proof with my bank that I didnt ever get a deposit from MyCashNow.... smh..... as I'm thinking about it.. even if you send them your bank statement and remove your account information they may look to see if you have had any other payday loans and use bogus numbers to try and get money from you.

Rec'd the call & so as we were speaking I googled the name & ALL kinds of "SCAM" "Ripoff" etc.... popped up & I told her that ....
They could NOT provide any type of documentation, unfortunately had all my information.....they had to make a "judgement" today, really, this is the first I had heard about something that I didn't except & didn't even recognize any of the payday names that she said......
Now I remember why I stopped trying to do anything like this online.

I think that they may be tapping into our email accounts or when you reapply for a loan online they are able to tap into that to get our peronsal information....  has anyone ever used Gentlebreeze, OneClick Cash or Sandpoint..... I have used those in the past and this is the 2nd time someone has tried to pull a scam on me.

I just received a message from this number, Simmons Smith & Associates...Stating it was a "Mr. Jackson" and a case with account number blah blah blah has come across his desk and it is important that I call him back today.  Upon returning the call, I was hung up on because the ignorant lady didn't know what she was doing.

I then called back and finally got transferred to this "Mr Jackson" who asked for the number they left the message on...They had my name once I gave them that information...Said that I have an outstanding balance on a PayDay loan...I advised this loan was paid in full and closed back in August of 2011.  He then asked me to send him proof of the payment.  I told him absolutely not and I don't owe him anything.  He said that he was going to mark it down as a refusal to pay.  You go ahead and do that honey.  I hope you enjoy your job you [***].

Some one using the name  Mrs. Jones called left A message saying  I owe $850 for A payday loan on . So I called back. ( Have not took out A loan in over 5 years).
She was very rude!!!! I told her I know this is A scam and I could just slap her up side her head!!!! ( I was so upset) I told her to [removed:lang] and lose my number and hung up. She called back 4 times from two different numbers. She had all my info. She ( Mrs. Jones) then said she would send someone over to my house to [removed:lang]!!  SO I just hung up and she keeps calling from all kinds of different number. Calling me all kinds of names ([removed:lang]) calling and calling about  25 times a day I unpluged the phone. because she was leaving messages when Iam at work and I have A 4 year old son!!! How can I stop this women????? SHE IS DRIVING ME NUTS FOR 4 DAYS NOW. 7/19/12

This women is still calling!!!! I called the police department and going to write out a police report. Not sure what to do!!! She has my SSN number and birth date and just keeps telling me what she is going to do if I do not pay she says she is above the law. This is a nasty women. there is another man in on this too he said his name is bah bah bah  i said really??? GET A LIFE!!! Still they keep calling me.... driving me crazy.7/23/12

Odd.  There was a message on my answering machine for the name of a person I've never heard of.  Left message to call Christopher Denning at Simmons & Smith Associates, 1-866-847-6165 x3004 regarding a peittion filed with their office today, but my caller ID says the number calling was 407-956-4210.  I was going to call and tell them they'd left the message at a wrong number, but after what I've found online, forget it!  Complaints for both phone numbers and reports on Ripoff Report.

Recieved a call from a lady stating that I owed a back loan - pay or else - breach of contract. I called MyPayDay loan and told them what was happening. In an email, they informed it was scam and do not respond. I did not even have an application on file.

WOW THIS IS BANANAS!!! I received my second call today from Simmons & smith regarding an unpaid loan. I have never taken a an Internet loan before, but these screw ups knew my employer and the last four digits of my bank account. The first call was from some project hoe, I can almost visualize her shaking her neck as we spoke, I told the [removed:lang] to find a real job, the second call was from guy who called himself Michael at 8668476165ext3005, he almost sounded believable, now this idiot wanted me to send him copies of my bank statements, when I asked him for his fax number, the fax machine was down, then I asked him for his better business bureau number and he didn't think they had one. So playing into him I ask how can I get the documents to him he gave me a gmail address, now I told him I was a truck driver and I could deliver the documents in persona since I was in Florida already, the phone went dead... Silence is golden, I'm just a dumb trucker, but always ask for a better business bureau number, any reputable company would have one. The next step is contact the AG OFFICE, as for harassing and menacing calls contact your local police...

I received a call today from +4079564210 and let it go to voicemail, as it looked to be a telemarketer/spam call. I got a voicemail (38 seconds) that the number left...it was someone calling themselves Chris Bennett from Simmons & Smith Associates, identifying me by first and last name and saying that my case showed up on his desk today and that I needed to call him back today to speak about it. He left a case number and a callback number, which was 866.847.6165 Ext. 3004. I did a google search for Simmons & Smith Associates, as I have had no previous dealings with any such firm, and this webpage came up. Intrigued by this obvious scam, I tried calling back both phone numbers...getting an instant busy signal for both.

I don't know how my information got to them but I hope my name is all they have.
