I just had a call from this number today as well.  I didn't answer because I didn't know who was calling.  My bill just NOW became due.  What is their problem?  I could see them calling if the bill was really late but the day of?  Geesh. I have been a customer of Verizon for at least 13 years and I've never had this happen before. I'm somewhat surprised but with the greed in this country I guess I shouldn't be.  Even the companies like Verizon are wanting MORE.  I'm glad I entered the number to find out who was calling.  Thanks everyone.

Same here! Glad I am switching to Straighttalk next month!!!! My boyfriend already has been using it for over a year and it works great, so I'm gonna save me some money!! And goodbye to the lame calls because my phone will be prepaid. And also only 45 bucks a month!

I want to thank those of you who have posted your comments. They are very helpful. Well, I've neen getting calls from Verizon lately and have reported them to the "Do Not Call" website. I have had the same cell phone number for over 20 years, and have always used AT&T as my carrier. I have NEVER used Verizon's services, but I just can't get them to stop calling. I don't answer their calls and they do not leave a message. Now I'm going to report them again to "Do Not Call" Wish me luck.

Yes, Verizon has become so aggressive for payments I'm about to leave... One day late and they call ALL your phones 3-4 times each! A little much for someone who's already charging more than everyone else...

I received a call from this number on my landline. I did not recognize the number and did not answer. The caller did not leave a voicemail message.

I looked up the number on this website and called back. After ~5 min on hold, I was connected to a representative. I told them that I was not a Verizon customer, and the representative told me that my number would be removed from their list.

I moved to Florida over 10 years ago and I have never had any customer relationship with Verizon.

Yes, Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive Acts, Practices (UDAAP) under the Dodd Frank Act. Verizon central finance call centers are in Lake Mary FL (407 area code) and Tulsa OK (Area codes 918 and 539). It's hard to break down the Verizon Wireless / Verizon Residential or Fios / Verizon Business breakdowns about who is who. I was receiving unwanted undisclosed calls that I associated with Verizon Fios and calls disguised under debt collector skip tracing /  reminder or courtesy calls / pay your bills calls. Contacted Verizon finance under my account (8 yrs) on their logged chat portion. The representative said she was an employee of Verizon in Orlando FL. She denied that Verizon finance does any type of reminder / courtesy / pay your bills calls. I asked if they didn't, what company worked the Florida call area and she said AFNI, but my account wasn't in arrears and I always paid by due date. Of course I believe that anything associated with accounting and debt collection tactics even for a company like Verizon is hidden with lying thieving employees to go with their deceptive business practices.
Side note, Verizon changed over to Frontier and I haven't received an undisclosed call in the last week, coincidence, or change over?
