- Shirley Lewis| 2 repliesI received a call from this number at 8:00 a.m. in the morning, I was up late and was still sleeping. Needless to say I was not to happy of course it was from out of state. The company's that make these calls need to know the time difference. I have called this company to complain. I'm not sure if I will be taken off the list or not, but I did call and complain.
- L FCalled from 401-982-1980. Did not answer.
- Caller: Unknown
- CTkec| 2 repliesI am in Connecticut and just got a call from this number. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. Since they did not leave a message I assume they are telemarketers and so I have added this number to my blocked call list.
My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.
To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes. Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers. You simply save the CID to the blocked list. You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code). - Pinetar| 1 replyThey called my home phone and didn't realize they were talking to a machine. Idiots. I'm on the no-call list but they don't care because there is no enforcement.
- Caller: Orlando, FL
- Mute replies to Shirley Lewis| 1 replyIf you called the company to complain could you share the information about what company you called?????
- dee wells replies to MuteI picked up and said hellol. I repeated about 5 times. Finally said "Will you people STOP" calling and not answering when I say hello? They hung up. I called back. They answered immediately - said they were some kind of Senior Services and I said STOP BLOODY CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't suppose they will. They are up to no-good I'm sure. I should have let the thing ring when I saw it was nobody I knew - suggest you do the same. If somebody legit wants to reach you, they'll leave a message.
- Walt| 2 repliesJust received a call from the above number.. Female voice asked if I would like an insurance agent call me to give me info on getting burial insurance that pays 100 per cent.
- Call type: Telemarketer

- cs789| 4 repliesHey people. Check out 800 notes for a similar insurance scam from 407-963-2638. Never ending calls day after day. Perhaps the same person is now using 407-982-1980.
Received my first call from this number today. Let the fun begin.
Don't blame the do not call list. Legitimate telemarketers are the only ones following the rules (well, maybe not always).
The scam scums don't care and just laugh at it and at you if you tell them they are in violation.
Get a call blocker and play the game. Do not answer any call you don't recognize (let it go to recorder). If the caller really knows you or has a message for you they will leave one.
Getting upset will only raise your blood pressure. If you want, just think up things to amuse yourself and have a laugh.
Good luck.- Caller: never ending scum

- Rosemary FCThis is a computer call. It human-sounding voice says "This is Sarah from Senior Care." It's not "Sarah;" it's a computer. Number has been blocked now.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Lou"Hello! This is Sarah from Senior Care!" I hung up... Number now blocked.
- Caller: SENIOR CARE - scam
- Tiredof Robocalls replies to CTkecI bought a similar Panasonic phone that blocks 250 numbers - love it. It was worth every cent. We had a Panasonic that blocked calls, but only blocked 30. Yes, it is easy to do the blocking.
We also have been on the Do Not Call Registry for a long time too. A FYI: telemarketers that call from outside the country (and they do) do not have to abide by the Registry. - Tiredof RobocallsThanks to all that post here so I can check numbers to see if they are from telemarketers. Called today a5 3:30 and didn't leave a message. Number is now blocked.
BTW, telemarketers that call from outside the country do not have to abide by the registry. Best defense is to get a call blocker, preferably one that will let you add more than 30 numbers (we upgraded to 250 version).- Caller: Unavailable
- annoyedcalle id same as number. If this is "Senior Care", they called me using 458-201-1434, 3 hours before using this number. 800 Notes reports for that number say the caller says "Senior Care", too.
