This number is associated with thieves who steal money from hard working individuals, the alternate number they give you is 855-233-8882.  First they call from this 408-134-5678 number and ask if you will be around to receive court papers, on a specific time and date:  Then if you want more information about the case they give you the 855-233-8882 number to call and tell you it's an outstanding debt.  

The thieves continue to call me from various 408 telephone numbers, I guess once they they hook you in they don't give up.

Also they might have some personal information about you which may lead one to believe the call is legitimate.

Asked me to call 888-434-2624 regarding some sealed legal papers that contain personal information and to ask for Mrs. Stevens.

When I called the 888 number I was told that there's no Mrs. Stevens who works at this number.

What a bunch of dummies...
