Called again, did a reverse lookup and got "Invalid number", spammers...

First time caller from this spoofed number.  Phone blocked spoofed number.

Best Air offering to clean our air ducts.  They claimed to be the company who services our A/C.  If they were, they'd know we just had new ductwork installed and don't need it cleaned!

Actually I'm not sure they are a real company, might be just a referral company drumming up business for local ductwork cleaners.

just called my office and hung up. will block them if I see it on my mobile.

This number has been calling my phone four times in the past three days and been getting blocked.  Wish they would give up!  Obviously a spoofed number.

Called me and claimed to be from Best Air Conditioning.  When I told them I was on the do not call list, he quoted back my address and told me that he would see me soon.

Asked to be removed, they said they would get in touch again. When I tried to repeat, hung up.

Called and hung up when the answering machine went on. No caller id

I asked them not to call back, and they said they would continue calling.

A man asked to speak to me by name.  When I offered to take a message, he said he will call back later.  I dialed the number and it is a disconnected number.  Where did they get my name?

Sounds like organized crime calls. They come up with legitimate sounding company names and try to get you to buy something so they can get your credit card info or bank info and drain your account.
