Guy named Jeff,  he said that he got my name from a friend of mine... not.
When I told him that just finished re-modeling my house he hung up on me.

Called said 'hello' then hung up....no name or ID showed up on my caller ID.

Called twice, left empty message.

Called and said Hi, how are you doing? I hung up on him. The number shows as Name not Found so I knew it was some kind of scam.

How did  this guy call me by name--made be mad--cannot dial him back--I do  not want to hear from him again--totally weird. The phone reception was very bad-

Called this afternoon, asked by someone in household by name.

Got call from this number on Saturday morning. Caller knew my name. When I asked who was calling, he said "Rick Sanchez, contractor extraordinaire" and then hung up on me. F-ing annoying.

We are on the do not call list and got a call from "Steve" from Allied Construction and gave the town we live in.  I suspect he had got the name from information since we do not list an address.

At any rate, it was virtually a begging call for construction work of any type.

I am not certain whether this is an identity theft or simply an unscrupulous merchant.  Regardless, I would not do business with them or give them any information.

Someone called from this number, said my husband's name with spanish accent, I asked who is calling, got reply "I am not gonna tell you, who is calling...I will call back". Disturbing.

Called and asked for me by name.  Started qualifying me and asked if the next home improvement project I do would an interior project or exterior project.  Told them to take me off their calling list.

I received a similar call earlier that was id'd as "Withheld".  She introduced herself and said they were a "major contractor" doing work in my neighborhood.  Then moved into the same qualification questions about whether I would be pursuing an interior or exterior project in the future.  Told her to take me off their calling list.

Got a call and made an appointment to have someone come by and give me an estimate.
They missed the appointment, and seem to be flakes.

Received about a dozen phone calls.

I have filed a complaint with the attorney generals office.

Dude called me by name, when I called him on his b.s, he started cussing me out, I told him to get a real job then hung up..

Received a csll from them today. Not a reputable company as they don't have caller id or a company name. Reported and blocked.

Jerk called me on a Saturday morning. Never did business with him and never will. Reporting to California Attorney General.

A man's voice saying "blllllaaaaahhhhh blaaaaaaah blaaaaaaa" and hanging up on our machine. Weirdo.

This person/org called my house on 10/04/2012. The caller i.d. showed their number as California Call. I said hello plenty of times, and I could tell someone was there, but they simply decided not to answer me back. They eventually hung up on me. So annoying! Steer clear of this number they obviously are not a repuatable company.

Called this evening - "name withheld" on caller ID.  I called back later, "disconnect recording."  I live in the 408 AC, so was surprised it is obviously an obnoxious scammer.

What good is it to be on the " do not call list"?  BTW, this was on my unlisted landline.
