I received this call soon after I created an account with CarsBelowInvoice.com. First call came as Restricted. A few minutes later my phone rang again, and this time I saw  408-228-0163.

Same here.  1st call restricted.  Second call from 408 number.  Probably checking to make sure number entered was legit, since they didn't stay on line long enouch for me to answer.

Yep. I got the same thing. I'm glad I found this site cuz I would not have known.  Luckily I had my ringer on silent last night. But I woke up this morning and saw 2 missed calls. 1 from an unknown and second from this same number. They called me at 3:43am this morning. How rediculous. I know I won't be doing business with these folks.

I had this same phone call after I tried signing up for a car loan from GMAC. First was restricted and the second was this number.

I just got a call from Unknown and then 408-228-0163. I just signed up for a car loan as well.

same exact thing happened to me after looking for a car online. unknown number first that hung up on me, then the 4082280163number....weird.

Yes same thing...but even the next day I got that number but Unknown again...I too tried lookinh for a car online...What is it...do some company not suppose to have my number?

Looked up info with Drivetime.com, and then I got the same two calls. 1:00 in the morning... how ludicrous....

Same thing after checking prices at Subaru.com and looking up a trade-in value.

I just received my "two" calls with no one there.  It will be a cold day in hell before I buy from them; assuming someone "live" individual actually calls.  This is a hellva way for them to conduct business.

i too recieved a call from this number. first was blocked and then the phone call, who calls at 430 in the morning!  this is rude

I had the same thing because I signed up for a quote from a car dealer on Yahoo Auto!

Received a call from restricted number then 408 number. After reading everyone elses comments I realized I received these calls because I tried to get quotes from cardealerships through the Kelley Blue Book site. I didn't answer either call nor did I try to return the call. Instead I just googled the number and got this website.

yeah I got the same two call last night after using blackbook...the Private number 1st and the 408 number three minutes later...

Go figure.

This number appeared on my cell phone.  When I tried to call it back, a recording said "We are unable to complete your call."
