- dougIf you hold on and wait, a telemarketer from "Online Pharmacy" will come on the line. They will claim to have an account for you and try to sell you prescription drugs. Viagra, etc. If you tell them to take you off their list, they hang up.

- Pat| 1 replyThese Indian people from Online Pharmacy are worse than herpes, you can't get rid of them!
It doesn't matter if you tell them that you're not interested and to take you off their list, they will call back from another number. One day it's from CA, the next it's from TN or from WA.- Caller: Online Pharmacy

- BrieThese people have been calling me for 2 years! All from different phone numbers because ive started to ignore them. UGH! I even had a DEA officer call me looking for the woman who had my phone number before me. I like the "HOMELAND SECURITY" line I just might use that.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TerriSame as all the posts above. Online pharmacy trying to sell prescription drugs with out a prescription. I've asked repeatedly to be removed from their list and they continue to call. I have purchased call blocking software that picks up and hangs up on them, but they still call!

- Cara| 5 repliesI'm getting calls too. Sooo annoying! If you go to: www.donotcall.gov it takes just 30 seconds to fill in their # to file a complaint. The more people who complain about a particular # the quicker they will investigate it and hopefully shut them down!
Make sure you go to the do not call list that ends in ".gov" as that is the legit one to register your # and to file complaints. There are spammer sites that end in different things who use it to try to get phone #'s for telemarketing solicitations. But if you go to the ".gov" site listed above, you'll be at the U.S. National Do Not Call Registry site. So go there now and complain about these annoying callers!! :D- Caller: online pharmacy

- Livnxxl replies to Cara| 1 replyThe "Do not call" site is useless. you are not dealing with regular telemarkers . the ID's are either spoofed or they use a magic jack number that is always In use for less then a week . The calls originate in india and are ported through one of the internet phone services. You cant stop them and you cant have anything done . If you get bored the easiest way to slow them down is say you are interested in buying the product, Place a huge order and when they ask for a credit card tell them to ship COD. After one or two calls like this they will stop for a short period but I promise it will start again
- LatterCalled me and left no message. I called back and it just rang and rang.

- ken bruceThese are call banks for US online pharmacy. Record the call if you can. Tell them to take you off their call list. If they call again, report them to the FCC http://www.fcc.gov/guides/unwanted-telephone-marketing-calls
Also, the FTC deals with this kind of crap.- Caller: US online pharmacy

- Ken replies to Cara| 1 replyyour living in a dream world. The do not call list does nothing. I've been on that list from day one. These people have been calling me for 5 years every day. I pretended that I died for a year, it didn't matter. My latest trick is to act interested and ask them to hold. I can usually waist up to 5 minutes of their time. It used to make me so angry but now it's sort of fun to hear them get frustrated. I'm going to keep thinking of new games. Next I think I'll start giving them bad credit card numbers...over and over again.
- Cara replies to KenMay I suggest you (and everyone else) also file a complaint against the number at the site I listed above. You can file a complaint every single time they call. It is the accumulation of complaints that catches their attention to investigate. So it's helpful if everyone files a complaint every time. (I know, it's just as annoying to do as it is to receive the calls, but it won't take long, I promise!)
Also, IMO, I would not recommend making up credit card numbers....you may inadvertantly "make up" someone's actual credit card number!! Then they and you may have to deal with fraudulant charges. Not fun! But I like the idea of putting them on hold forever!
There was a guy on youtube who recorded the sales calls he got and he pranked them all just doing outrageous stuff -- it was hilarious!! I wish I could remember what it was called?? It had some really good ideas of things to do to the telemarketers when they call that will annoy the heck out of them, yet you are not doing anything wrong. - Cara replies to LivnxxlThat may not be a good idea since they will then have more info on you....your address! :( And who knows if they can report you as delinquent or in default of payment if you refuse a COD order -- you know what I mean? -- with the credit bureaus and stuff? But if you don't care about that kind of thing, go right ahead, lol!
