It's supposedly PG&E calling to help you enroll in a low income program to reduce bill. It seems legit and not a scammer just ask to be removed from list.

Claims to be with PGE low income. They want to enroll you in things and claim they are free. I tested them about the knowledge of my house and they failed. They thought my house was built in 2003, but it was built 2017. In 2003, I wasnt even old enough to buy a house! Lol. Scam scam scam!!!! Beware!

SCAM! Tried to enroll me into a lower saving pge payments. They don’t know anything besides your name and number! Don’t let them scam u!! Call PGE DIRECTLY FOR ANY SAVING PROGRAM SUCH AS CARE! Don’t talk to anyone besides the pge number listed on their websites.

The fact that the ID said "PGE energy" and not "PGandE" (I had a full 24 hours power outage the other day) and I remember it was a 800 number and not a 408.

Also, for any discount programs, you have to call them instead they calling you.

called my home phone number. I didn't answer. They immediately called my cell. I didn't answer. No message on either number.

They called on New Years Day and they called my dad about the same program that PG&E offered. The company wasn't supposed to call you, so don't be fooled by them. They're scamming you
