Received phone call from this number an hour ago.  It seems like (408) 264-xxxx always a phone call from
weirdo and spammer.  Therefore, I don't typically pick up the phone when I see (408) 264-xxxx.  In the past
month or so, this would be a 3rd (408) 264-xxxx to my home.  I checked on the internet and everyone else
received calls from these numbers.  Please find out who placed the call and levy fines to these people.

This is now the 27th 408-number that I've blocked this year, but first with 408-264-  The I-D-10-Ts keep trying, but this won't get through to my phone with this number, anymore.

This call is from A1 Solar Power, a solar company based in Van Nuys, California (with six branches throughout the state: San Diego, Costa Mesa, Carpenteria, Petaluma, Concord, and San Jose) or one of its telemarketing fronts.  

A1 Solar Power’s telemarketing fronts usually spoof both the Caller-ID name and the Caller-ID number or use recently disconnected numbers.  Occasionally, they will spoof the active number of an unsuspecting victim.

I've been getting calls from the same area code/exchange 408-264 for several months now - the last 4 digits vary.  I've submitted a complaint to the National Do Not Call Registry.  Here is the link:  www.donotcall.gov.

Yes, but... I just found that when you call the number back... a message says it is a disconnected number. This is a total scam operation.

Got a call from this number.  Caller ID said Olson L & M.  Using individual's names in hopes you will pick up. They call everyday and I don't answer.

I got a call from this number. When I answered they hung up. I dialed back & received a recording that the phone number was disconnected or not in service. It must be a scammer.

I have been getting calls from this number (and many other 264-xxxx numbers) that: 1) do not answer when I pick up; 2) do not leave a msg; 3) cannot be called back, as "this number is no longer in service" msg replys.
This started the DAY AFTER I answered a call from the "National Renewable Energy Center " and I rejected their offer.

I'm getting calls from this number constantly. I'm getting really sick of it. Next time they're going to get a loud whistle blown into the phone, maybe that will stop them!

408-264-XXXX scammers. They've been calling on 408-264-2636 during weekdays and Sundays with average of 10 to 20 calls per day. Now they have switched to 2672 and 2832 number and doing the same. The number uses the caller ID of innocent third person (2672=Caitlin M Stottrup, 2636=Geraldine M Levy, 2832=Maxine Olson) as a victim and pretend they are not scams. The same old method when you pick up there's no one there and hungs up. When you call back the number says it is of a terminated or disconnected line. National Do Not Call Registry means nothing to them. They have this confidence that they can get away. When you receive calls from 408-264-XXXX simply DO NOT PICK UP. Let the phone ring and DO NOT PICK UP. Do what you need to do like registering your number on the Do Not Call.

When I answer they say nothing, please delete my number from your calling list. I am tired of being harassed. The continuous calls are unwanted.

Please delete this number from your auto dial (408-[removed]). Your calls are unwanted and harassing me. This is the 3rd request to let you know, when the call is answered you hang up. You call my private number which is no longer private because I now posted it in order to get you to stop calling.

It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

408-264-XXXX Caller ID hijacked numbers. The following companies 1) to 7) are said to be associated and hired telemarketers with these scam calls. The telemarketers they hire not only hijacks private numbers but also violates several FTC laws.
