Getting repeated calls from unknown individuals in the 408 area code, including this one.  Don't know the source of the calls.

This call is from A1 Solar Power, a solar company based in Van Nuys, California (with six branches throughout the state: San Diego, Costa Mesa, Carpenteria, Petaluma, Concord, and San Jose) or one of its telemarketing fronts.  

A1 Solar Power’s telemarketing fronts usually spoof both the Caller-ID name and the Caller-ID number or use recently disconnected numbers.  Occasionally, they will spoof the active number of an unsuspecting victim.

I concur, because nobody (except I-D-10-Ts) would call several people as "wrong number" calls.  This number was on the caller ID, when I arrived home, no messages, so I blocked.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number. No message is left and when I call back there is no answer or answering machine.

Those A1 Solar Power perps are certainly busy this morning!  I wonder if they get overtime for working Sundays?

After I answered it hung up. I called back 10 times, when it connects it makes a long busy signal.

When I challenged him on the caller ID number being fake, he said it was a problem with my equipment and that he was calling from 877-593-2995.  I told him the person he was asking for did not live here.   He said he was from "National Renewable Energy Center" which seems to just be a front for a solar provider named "A1 Solar Power", but that info is just based on other internet searches I did.

Yeah.  Right!  A "problem with [your] equipment."  Why does A1 Solar Power almost *always* spoof the numbers they use?  Because they know they are breaking the law.  That's why!

Over the past several weeks I have received several calls from:  408-264-3106, 2832, 3055 and 3036.  I created a contact called SPAM and just add them to that list and then put them all on my blocked list.

This number keeps calling and when I pick up, there is silence, then the background noise of a call center, then hang up.

When I phone back, I get a busy signal.

Just got a call.  I repeatedly say HELLO????  and a brief voice came on as I could hear call center noises in the background.  Call the number and it rings and rings, then goes to a long busy.  Sham.  Now blocked.
Problem is, older people really do get hoodwinked into their sales pitch.  So sad, not to mention unconscionable!

They keep calling. They leave no message. Do they actually think I would buy anything from them with this repeated stupidity.

Yesterday and this morning this same person keeps calling, then after a few seconds hangs up. This morning I asked, why do you keep hanging up stop calling me. My called I'd captured the name/number which I googled. I want you all to know the details of this person named; Shelley L Emata aka Shelley L Bauer, age 42, lives @ 1810 Brighten Ave. San Jose, Ca.  95124, telephone # 1-408-264-3106.  I plan to contact SHPD to file a report. (Calls recv'd on my land line).
