This caller is a home security telemarketer.  It's a robocaller; the recording first tries to "fear you up" saying that crime is up your neighborhood, and ask to help out by placing a security sign in your yard.  And as a reward, presumably, they will install a GE Wireless Home Security system ***FREE-OF-CHARGE***

Free of charge!  [GET READY FOR THE UPSELL RIGHT HERE AT THIS POINT].....That's great but how do they make money...same way that ADT does: install the system "free" and milk you with Monitoring Fees/Costs.  For life....anywhere from $ 20 to $ 35 per month or  $ 240 to $ 420 a year.

I received a recorded message from this number that talks about putting an alarm system in my house for free as long as I let them put a sign advertising their company in the front yard. It really means that they are willing to give you a free alarm system if you are willing to pay their crazy monthly monitoring fees. I pressed one so I can find out who they are. The guy says he is with General Electric but he is full of [***]. He wanted my name and info immediately and hung up when I was asking details about who they are.

They called at 2:44 ET on 4/20/15.  Did not leave message.  I blocked them.

recorded message fear mongering, giving out a "Free" "GE" alarm system. Scammers and liars.

This number just called me...I don't have any family or friends in the area of San Jose and none of my credit cards are located there either...number did not leave me a message...totally think this is some kinda scam.  If it's about any type of home loan/mortgage or anything of that nature...I do not own a home and have not been looking to own a home at this time...you can't trick me scammers!
