ID was MOD - no message - anyone know who this is??

Got a call from this number yesterday. Caller ID said "California". No message was left. Then got a call from "MOD" at 305-777-9791. No message left. Don't know what MOD is.

The MOD is the March of Dimes...they are trying to solicit people to collect money for them

Got a call from them this morning.  I don't believe for one minute that the phone calls from this number is from the March of Dimes.  If it is a legitimate call why do they disguise their identity on caller id and why don't they leave a message.  The people that are calling from this number is the scum of the earth!

Call came in while I was at work.  No message.  March of Dimes?  Could be.

call is frequent in am at aprox 8:50-51 am. MOD caller ID Number 408-341-6829. When called back will not dial out-? MARCH OF DIMES ALWAYS IDENTIFIES-I AM ON NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST! THIS SHOULD BE BLOCKED.
"MOD" is ABBREVIATION FOR "MAN ON DUTY IN MILITARY AND POLICE" so I picked it up having military family-
THIS IS A NUISANCE AND I WISH FOR WHAT WE ARE CHARGED FOR SERVICE THAT NO PHONE CARRIER ALLOW PEOPLE TO SCAM LIKE THIS. I CANNOT BLOCK THIS NUMBER EITHER.  IT SICKENS ME HOW OUR HARD EARNED MONEY NEVER REALLY GAVE US THE SERVICES AND PRIVACY PROMICED.
I HOPE SOMEONE CAN REPORT TO (WHERE?) THIS AS A NUISANCE AND THAT THESE TYPE CALLS ARE NOT SUBSCRIBED FOR< THEREFORE SHOULD BE

Area code 408 includes Campbell, California. Caller ID seems to be different from previously reported MOD.

I get calls almost twice a day, even on weekends.  There never is a message.  

Also calls from 502-716-5489, 305-777-979, 714-844-0123, 703-649-2714, 617-502-4281, 267-519-4003, 410-849-4038.  They all show MOD, but no message.

I have had 13 calls, if they really were legit, they would leave a message.

I have been getting calls from the March of Dimes for over a month.  Several a day.
Today I got pissed and called them.  You get a recording that says if you want to learn more about their organization press "1".  When you do that the second choice is to have your number removed from their list.  You key in your area code and phone number and if your lucky it will get the number correct (it took three times for me).  They then take your name off their list.  Hope it works for all of you.
I will never donate to the March of Dimes again!!
